Extremely unorganised, unable to get in contact with anyone, poor communication and customer service. Took over 12 months for someone to finally contact me for my course fees.

I spoke to an unintrested receptionist when I dialled the GOTAFE" with my enquiry. Her name was Rachael

Don't confuse Wangaratta Docker Street Campus and Tone Road Campus, Wangaratta Regional Study Centre. I am soon to complete my Certificate IV in Vet Nursing. The staff have been fantastic. The facilities awesome and up to date with an abundance of up to date equipment and mannequins to practice on. The buildings are modern with excellent facilities. Thankyou to Kerry Rogers, Dr Sam Swann, Dr Mary-Lou and all lecturers you have made this course thoroughly enjoyable and enabled me to reach a high standard in my grades.

Wangaratta gotafe country education at its absolute worst. Advice : don’t waste your time money or energy. Poorly managed and organised, enrolment process is painful and drawn out and my experience with one of the teachers was that if she should never be in that profession to start with. When a complaint is put through it is promptly managed with a stern slap on the teachers wrist. I am not a disgruntled former student as I’m not the only one to withdraw and since withdrawing I have moved on to a much better RTO that actually has their sh..t together and has an excellent hairdressing teacher. So for all those would be hair students wanting to study a certificate 3 in hair or barbering I strongly suggest you don’t waste your time and money at Wangaratta gotafe. Remember you only get one shot at a government subsidised certificate 3 so don’t waste it getting a poor education where you don’t learn anything and you will also be subject to bullying.
