Gymbaroo Jandakot

My 2 year old daughter has just started here and she absolutely loves it she looks forward to coming here every week.

My 5 month old has really been enjoying the platypus classes with Crystal. She loves the music and dance and I have noticed a significant improvement to her tolerance for tummy time. Crystal is very kind and helpful to both mums and kids. I really like Gymbaroo as a healthy exercise activity for my little one. Am hoping to keep my daughter progressing through the levels. My 4month old could not handle any amount of tummy time but we persisted with classes for almost a full term where all she did was cry. So by the time she was 6.5months she was commando crawling and keen on tummy time. At 8months she was crawling, ata9months sitting and cruising around furniture. Now she is standing up on her own at 10months. Alot of it is your own work with your bub at home to practice the exercises, but if you persist, you will see improvement. Our awesome instructors are Susan and Magdalene.

I wish I had something nice to say about our experience here. It's not even worthy of a one star rating I had to forcefully give it.We took our child close to 2 years for the first time. The instructor was totally unfit for her role and lacked the patience, warmth, courtesy and professionalism her role demands.She did not take the time to explain the importance of the equipments and always seemed rushed and overwhelmed and was devoid of any enthusiasm. She even excluded us from the group asking us to sit away" just after 2 turns as our kid was resisting activities and not going along with the group - surely 2 turns of 30 mins each is not enough for a child to cope with new surroundings or activities .She even expressed her irritation with another new couple saying "it's just when you are new I have to keep explaining things over and over" .I wrote a review on their website but it was never published.A total waste of our hard earned $$$.NEVER AGAIN !"

Lovely and clean venue and equipment, great instructors and staff that are dedicated, welcoming and friendly. Our little girl loves the sessions. We've had a great experience.

Our initial instructor Magdalene was highly qualified and helpful especially during Level 1 course. It does not only help the child but the parent how to help the child to learn. Other instructors are also well trained and deliver the class well. Recommend to any parents for their children

Great learning place for toddlers before they hit kindy. We initially trialled when bub was 9 months but found class was a bit hard for her to follow at that age. We came back when she was 2 and has been enrolled for a year now. We found her interests in literacy/alphabets increases over time. Class is fast paced but full of fun activity. Structure of the class is 5 mins free play, 20 mins mat time where they follow instructions, 5 mins free play at the equipment again and 15 mins of music time at the mat. My girl is actually always looking forward to the class every time. Thanks Gymbaroo Canningvale!

I have returned back to gymbaroo with my 2nd child after attending 5yrs ago with my 1st, it's just like I remember, but with different teachers, Crystal is a lovely teacher always welcoming and loves what she does and the children she teaches. Both myself and my 7month old are happy to go to class each week.
