Excellent jeweller. I started relying on Gary Coey for jewelry making/repairs back in the days when he operated from the 1st floor suites in the older buildings in Adelaide St, Brisbane opposite David Jones and then when he established the current shop at Capalaba until his retirement and I now have subsequently had Cindy perform several different jewelry repairs and modifications for myself and my late mother too. They have always delivered on what I wanted and asked for and at an affordable price too. Highly recommended to all.

Gary has been a jeweler of mine for the last 20 years. He has made and designed the most remarkable precious pieces and original pieces. With pride and pleasure. Absolutely gorgeous wouldn’t go to any other Jeweler . Sorry that you have retired Gary. But I’m sure your store and your beautiful work will live on.

These guys were recommended to me, and they carried out some jewellery repairs which I was happy with. So then I gave them a bag of broken and/or unwanted jewellery (one earring because I lost the other, broken bits and pieces etc) and they made beautiful pieces for me that I can now wear.

Highly recommend - fantastic service and attention to detail!Jacinta from GJ Coey Jewellers recently cleaned and rhodium plated my white gold and diamond engagement ring. I felt very comfortable leaving my ring with the GJ Coey team and couldn't be happier with their work. I've had lots of comments on how sparkly my ring looks. I will be back!

Sorry, Gary that you have retired, your work was done with pride and passion, but I will Never go back. Bad attitude,defensive and just no responsibility. She was just not interested in having a look or trying to do the right thing!! $240 odd dollars has now cost me another $820 to fix her damage!!! Please Gary come back!!!

Excellent jeweller. It's always my first stop when going to buy jewellery for presents, and I've never had to go onto a second stop. There's always something for someone I can purchase. Cindy is a lovely lady, always interested in members of my family. We're so happy we found Cindy and G. J. Coey. They have become more like family friends instead of impersonal jewellers.

These lovely people repaired my late grandmother's ring after the claws became loose. As this ring is incredibly sentimental and could never be replaced we were extremely nervous about leaving it anywhere for repair but GJ Coey were fantastic - very understanding and we had it back the next day.
