Decor8 Curtains, Blinds & Shutters

I reached out to Rowan from Decor8 following a referral to fit out our new home extension with curtains and blinds.I was amazed by the range and options he had to chose from and the prompt timelines from the initial meeting to measure to installation. We contacted Decor8 along with a few other companies when looking at outfitting out new home. Rohan's range, advice, turnaround time and price was leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. We have had installed roller blinds 2 years ago by Rowan and we have certainly been more than impressed by his professionalism and by the quality of the product. Recently we have had the need to contact Rowan to rectify a small issue with the roller blind and he came on the day of contact, rectified the small problem to our satisfaction. $20,000 and not happy.First time I used Decor8 (2007) i was very happy so I chose them again even though the quote was considerably more than the others. Adam doing the installation did NOT use a spirit level, stud finder or tape measure and installed every thing by eye. Because he didn't go into the studs, the curtains are ripping out the wall plugs as shown in the photo. Places where the curtains dropped he blamed the floor for being uneven. Did not use the right brackets therefore curtains catch on tracks down the bottom even though we asked for 10mm clearance every where. One curtain was not manufactured properly and gave me every excuse as to why it is this way but did not replace the curtain. Rohan came over and took the curtain one day with no phone call (mother in law opened the door and he came in uninvited) and he held it ransom as I wasn't paying the last 5 per cent until I received a properly made curtain. Told me I had to pay and then he would come and install the fixed" curtain. I paid hoping for a fixed curtain but he did NOT fix the curtain or replace it but he got his money and it is not his problem any more. Very unprofessional way of doing business and would not recommend using them. Very unsatisfied with final product."

Very happy with Decor8. They were recommended by my brother who had used them before. Rohan was very helpful with his recommendations for colours and they were spot on. Their prices were great too. My blinds ended up being $1,000 cheaper than the other quote I got and they also included pelmets which the other quote didn't include. Will definitely use them again.

Rowan is a pleasure to deal with. Not pushy, provides great idea, friendly and not to mention priced very well. We replaced all the curtains in our house and have been super pleased with the result.
