The most beautiful gardens. It was peaceful. There were plants from all over the world. I particularly enjoyed the bonsai section. One bonsai Tree had been started in 1966

It has very well composed settings and sceneries. More delicate than other botanic gardens in Australia probably. The shortest track only takes 30mins walk, worth a go

Beautiful gardens to explore. So many cool spots to just bask in the sun and chill. The bonsai garden was a standout with some dating back to the 40's! Parking was a bit of a challenge on a Sunday morning but otherwise a great free activity to get into and connect with nature. Enjoy

A massive botanic gardens in Brisbane. From the moment I stepped foot in the gardens, I was greeted by lovely volunteers who guided me through the different trails around the garden.I loved the beauty and peaceful atmosphere here. The gardens are filled with a wide variety of plants and flowers from around the world, and I was amazed at how well-kept everything was. It's clear that the staff here take great pride in their work and are dedicated to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for visitors. There are plenty of free parking available.Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Brisbane Botanic Gardens to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.Thank you to the staff for creating such a wonderful place! We drove up to the Coot-Tha lookout point after visiting the Botanic Gardens.

The Botanic Gardens are a perfect destination for a not-so-hot day in Brisbane. With its countless little pathways that lead to all kinds of different habitats it's offers nice little adventures for your kids. There are also plenty of big green grass areas that invite for a picnic or a simple get-together in some peaceful environment away from the noise of the otherwise big city.

It's wonderful to find such a gorgeous place so close to the city. If you're prepared to do some brisk walking you can find many little paths and areas that you may not have seen on previous visits. I'd encourage visitors to take photos, but otherwise leave your phone alone — observe the textures, taste the air, notice the humidity as you venture into the rainforest sections. It is a great place to escape, practice mindfulness, and let go of the FOMO.

Very beautiful gardens, full of hidden secrets. We enjoyed doing the kids scanner hunt through the children’s garden. Lots of fun things to find!

Outstanding gardens in the city with excellent variety of plant life and great facilities for visitors. Plenty of parking, clean toilets and a good restaurant too. The grounds are well maintained and very clean. There are playgrounds for kids and nice pond areas for picnic. Highlights for us were the Japanese bonsai garden and the domed tropical hothouse with rare palms, orchids and more. A great day out for families or anyone. Band rotunda often has live big band music on the weekends too.
