Walked in and was immediately served, got sat down and offered a drink. Some prior knowledge. I hate hair cuts because I’ve never gotten one that I actually liked. Safe to say. Definitely going back, for once I am actually happy with a hair cut.

Absolutely wicked experience at area studio. Loved the expertise of the team and my hairstyle experience under Pinky, the best in the business, she appreciates the art of haircut and listen to her client’s needs. Would 100 recommend their service.

Benji was fantastic. Really took his time to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. Went above and beyond with his care and time getting my cut to look how I wanted, and gave me great styling tips. His creativity is unparalleled and had great chats! Can’t recommend highly enough. Thanks guys!

I'm very happy with the results of my haircut! My hair stylist was extremely friendly and asked me questions the whole way through to make sure I was getting everything I wanted out of my hairstyle. Definetley will be back! :))

Possibly the best barber experience I've ever had, Simon really made me feel comfortable and truly listened to what i wanted & delivered it, truly recommend him. What a great experience, came in rather late on the dat without an appointment, but even though they were full they rearranged some appointments to fit me in. The overall experience was just fantastic! The result was great, the service and hospitality was very nice and they even gave some tips on how to improve my hair. Thanks a lot and I highly recommend this place!

Professional service and vibing atmosphere, with complimentary drinks (you choice of water/sparkling water/beer). I knew the place because of a $20 off promotion (even though seems like the cashier didn’t know about it and I had to show her myself).My experience with Ben was very great, even though he is new here. He is very professional, though I sense that he is still a bit quiet. Noticing that my hair type was one that is hard to style, he gave me recommendations on what to do or which style to follow, as well as giving instructions on how to apply clay to my hair efficiently. I am guessing that Ben is the guy to go for fades and beard trim.The price here is quite pricey than other barber shops, and varies depending on the stylist. The cheapest you can get for a haircut is $70, and the rest are mostly around $100. So I’d probably recommend preparing your questions to make the most out of the spending.

This was my first experience at a barbershop and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I typically go to a hair salon, but I've always heard that barbers aren't great with Asian hair due to its thickness. However, my visit to Area Studio completely changed my perspective on that stereotype. I absolutely loved my haircut and I will definitely be returning in the near future. The stylist was extremely detailed and precise in his work. If you're on the fence about trying Area Studio, I highly recommend making an appointment. Don't let any doubts hold you back from experiencing the great service and results for yourself.

Have tried every highly rated barber (& award winning) in Sydney, Melbourne & London over the past 8 years combined. Daniel Fortino is the best I’ve experienced. Hands down. There is nothing else to add, this man is truly a master of his craft. A very rare men’s hairdresser and absolute legend of a bloke. The salon itself is also elite. Book him while you can.
