Words don’t even describe how wonderful Gail has been for the birth of our first baby boy a few weeks ago. We decided to plan for a home birth half way through my pregnancy journey and after being recommended Gail, I knew she was perfect for us as soon as we met. Gail is the most passionate, caring and professional midwife and we always felt so supported through the pregnancy, labour and birth and now on our postnatal journey. Gail’s 24 years of experience and expertise was shown in the way she always went above and beyond for us. We had regular antenatal visits in our home and Gail always gave us as much time needed and provided the most wonderful labour, birth and baby care education in preparing us for the arrival of our baby. Gail always prioritised the safety of myself and baby during pregnancy and home birth. I knew Gail would inform us if there were any concerns at all and I always trusted her. We had the most wonderful home birth experience and I honestly felt so safe and guided the whole time. The care from start to now was well above my expectations and I will always be grateful for Gail and her work. We are already excited to have our next baby and journey with Gail at Nesting Hub. Gail is an incredible midwife, I couldn’t recommend her more for a home birth. She is so kind and generous with her time and very experienced and knowledgeable. She strikes the balance perfectly having the practical medical experience and an open mind and I felt really safe and confident in her care. I had my first son in a private hospital with an OB and this time I wanted a different experience. I wanted to be heard and build a relationship with my care provider. Also I wanted to be understood that I wanted to deliver my baby naturally, without getting pressured into an induction. Having all my appointments at home was great rather than rushing to the hospital for a 10 mins appt with an OB. My second sons birth at 41+3 weeks was amazing and being in the comfort of my own home surrounded by incredible woman and my husband is something I will always treasure. 6 weeks of postnatal care from Gail had such a positive impact on my mental and physical recovery.

After COVID re-emerged in Sydney our baby classes were all cancelled but we found Gail and the Nesting Hub and booked in some one on one zoom classes. She is thorough, knowledgeable and passionate about providing new parents with all the tools needed to have an informed birth and labour. She took us through the importance of looking after yourself and what to expect from bub post partum. We feel that Gail will be there should we ever need her wisdom or advice in the future. An amazing woman and program. We are so grateful for Gail!!!

Gail was an absolute godsend to us and made our journey to parenthood a dream. She honoured our wishes and we was able to create the birth we have always wanted. Gail's advice to me during the first year of my midwifery degree has been invaluable. She is passionate, professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of midwifery care. Couldn't recommend Gail any higher. From the antenatal visits, the birth and then postnatal care and support Gail was like a second mother to us all. She was thorough in all her checks ensuring both my wife and child were never at any risk while letting everything unfold naturally.
