We needed some entertainment for a Biggest Morning Tea that we were hosting at one of our villages. I found Tristan online, and from the moment I reached out to him, everything was easy. On the day, Tristan fitted in perfectly. His guitar skills are next level. Classical tones but performing popular music. I could hear people talking saying, “I know this song, what is it”. And that’s the beauty of Tristan’s performance, it engaged people and made them lean in. I also saw a number of people (the musicians of the group), talking to Tristan and watching closely as he plays. Tristans ability as a highly technical classical guitarist, and his craft at picking songs, is the perfect blend for any occasion. Thanks heaps Tristan.

Tristan is a great teacher and has made excellent progress with my son over the 6 years he has been teaching him. He interacts well with kids and my son always comes out of his lesson very happy and positive, and cannot wait to share with me what he has learnt. An incredible musician! As a teacher, Tristan goes above and beyond for his students. He composed a wholly unique piece tailored specifically to me for my HSC exams, and went out of his way, facing strict lockdown conditions, to perform with me on multiple occasions. I reached out to Tristan to play at my brothers wedding recovery brunch in the Hunter and he was helpful and responsive from the onset. On the day he was professional, friendly and well prepared and played beautifully for the event. A wonderful mix of traditional Spanish and more contemporary acoustic classics. Tristan arrived to my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary in plenty of time to set up and share his immense talent. He played to suit the mood and even learnt one of mum and dads favourites. I can highly recommend Tristan for his professionalism and talent.

Tristan is an excellent teacher! It’s easy to see how talented he is both at playing the guitar but also in teaching! Coming back to the guitar as an adult I was nervous but through our lessons Tristan has helped me improve technically and increased my theoretical knowledge and understanding to achieve my goals - in a way that is both fun and engaging.He is flexible, reliable and working with him has helped me improve at a faster rate. Due to the pandemic and also living far away I’ve been able to have my lessons via zoom.
