No fresh snow but was enough for kids to have fun..only way open to summit is through Warburton. It's closed if you are coming from Healesville

Nice trek but make sure to wear well suited active wear and avoid during rainy days.it is very steep and bring lots of water.Trek from Warburton to Mt Donna bung via Mt Victoria is 7+hrs.

There are plenty of tourists in the area but there's plenty of space for everyone to roam, play, and sled. There are no restaurants in the summit but there's a food truck serving hot drinks and hotdogs (even vegetarian) in front of the car park. Make sure to wear gloves when visiting this winter so you can have more fun!

Very lush trail, highly recommended when it's not too cold. It gets foggy, the plants are wet, so make sure you wear gaiters or tights to avoid leeches. The drive to here from Melbourne is just simply beautiful. After your hike, is recommend going to the natural spring right next to the hike.

A truly magical place when there is snow (which isn’t all that often). It can get crowded and the car parks can reach capacity pretty quickly, but it’s definitely a winter wonderland where kids can build a snowman (or 5), and you can byo toboggan. And the best part is that it’s free to access and reasonably close to Melbourne. The most recent trip was on a weekday after school has finished and stayed till sunset. One must wonder how many more snow covered days this place will get - at just 1200m above sea level, climate change will definitely have an effect in the coming years.

Donna is a great place to go in winter if you want to see some snow! Not always there, but snow forecast websites are usually pretty accurate.Hiking trails are a bit steep but nice places to walk.At the summit there are some picnic tables and a toilet block, there's also a toilet block at the 10 Mile Carpark.Beautiful country! I just wish I could bring my dog but since it's a national park it's no dogs allowed.
