Cafe Pegasus

This was my first time coming here to meet a friend & although the staff were lovely, the organisation of the cafe could do with some work.FYI - arriving at 10:30am means that the kitchen is closed for them to get ready for lunch. As much as I understand that, it’s not great for a cafe…so my friend, her two kids & I waited 30 mins for the kitchen to re-open…we were able to order drinks & anything in the cabinet in between so that kept us going. You also can’t order/pay in advance & have to order at 11am…this to me is ridiculous.When I first arrived, I went to get some water & water glasses. One glass had a massive crack in it so I took it to the lovely lady & she apologised & gave me another glass. When I went back to the table I noticed it had lipstick stain on it, so I took it back & she apologised & gave me another glass - which also had stains on it as well so I gave up & left it on another table. The lady approached me asking if I needed the glass & I told her about the stain to which she left with it thinking she was going to get me another but never came back.It was 11:04am & we go to order our food to then be told that my Calamari Pasta was going to take 20 mins to make as the Chef is on a lunch break…seriously?!?!You can’t tell clients that the kitchen is closed at 10:30am & wait till 11am to then be told to wait another 20 mins at least because the only person who can make any food at the cafe which is meant to serve food is on a break. This is ridiculous.Our food finally comes out around 11:30am & it’s pretty average tasting & the kids chips were cold.Unfortunately we will not be back. The staff were lovely but staff organisation & checking simple things such as clean glasses is basic 101 when it comes to any business.

Stumbled across this awesome coffee shop Pegasus Cafe, amazing location small centre Close to Kmart, Coles and Woolworths very exotic shopping centre. The food at Pegasus was ultra high-quality the coffee was roasted beautifully, excellent coffee barista beautiful relaxing environment, can highly recommend this to stop in …. the service from Li and Stephanie superb :) Ap

The most cozy cafe. Has left the best impressions. Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide brunch and lunch list and wonderful dessert. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great service. I would like to come back here again and again.

My husband got a takeaway flat white and said it was terrible. I thought he was overly dramatic and exaggerating and I tried it. It tasted like hot milk with a couple drops of coffee flavouring. Apparently service staff were busy chit chatting, which is fine but maybe just need better training on how to make coffees first, especially being a cafe.

Tried the Mud Cake, Orange & Almond cake and Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. One of the best cakes in town which are dairy free and vegan. Best hot chocolate ever!

Nice place. Coffees are good. Staff is very nice. BUT, we ordered a few slices of cake and they tasted like they were at least 3 days old… dry and had the taste of food that’s been sitting out for some time. So ask them about the freshness of the cakes before buying one.

Manager Li was amazing.Incredibly patient and friendly service (not what you usually get in sunnybank I’d say). Poached eggs were cooked to perfection.Chicken+waffle was a great balance of sweet, savoury and juicy. Flavours worked well together.Eggs your way (poached) + smoked salmon. Simple and tasty.
