Grand Cru Estate

A must do experience. The wood oven pizza is amazing. The best I have tasted. We tried various wines and was lucky enough to have a personalised tour of the grounds. The rose was my favourite. Peter and his family were most welcoming and will definitely be back.

We stayed at the homestead for a couple of nights and it was magical. Staying on a vineyard was the perfect way to visit the Barossa. Plus the property is just beautiful - we had a truly 'homey' experience with every amenity you'd need. Peter and Roz are amazing hosts, and even with a big storm and a power outage Peter sorted out everything we needed and took us fishing down on their lake. I could not more highly recommend this as a place to stay, its an authentic and fabulous wine country experience!

Very unprofessional to ask for more money after being informed at the time of booking, 5 months before, that we would not need to book and pay for children in the accomadation of the homestead. We were told this after booking the venue while we were at lunch to discuss booking a function for the same weekend. We were asked for extra money at checkout . This matter should of been addressed a time before and if informed of price change etc , we would of considered cancelling our booking.It has left a very sour taste, and I will not be heading back there anytime soon.Simply not good enough.

We stopped in to this beautiful place for our Anniversary lunch. The pizza was the best wood oven pizza I’ve ever had and HOT and Peter, Jordan and Jane were so accomodating! Jordan walked us around the property and Jane took the girls to feed the horses while Peter ensured the food and wine was on point! What an amazing property!

Peter has been the light of the night! Great pizzas, great wine, great stories and great company.A very warm and intimate experience. if you just wanna chill with some pizzas for the night. It’s the places! Also has to try their s dessert pizza

Highly recommend amazing wood oven pizza in perfect setting with 100% the best country hospitality . I would Deffinatly make sure this is on your next barossa trip list .

What a gem of a place! Try their wines, play with the dogs, admire the afternoon golden hour light, relax with a good book and their woodfire pizza and definitely stay for the night! The homestead is beautiful.

This wood fired over pizza / winery is the best. Peter the owner/ cook and evety thing else is an amazing host. We always feel welcome. The pizzas are tadty / amazing especially the caramelised onion but all ab fab. The wine is always good and the atmosphere is lovely no matter if you eat inside or out on the terrace. I feel at home here the conversation is fun and casual with Peter and other patrons. Highly recommend and wish more locals would hang out here as such a lovely place. Sorry no pics of the food as ate it as soon as it hit the table. A bit out of the way but to us that adds to the beauty. Thank you Peter for some lovely nights we have enjoyed at Grand Cru.
