Heathcote Queen Meadow Caravan Park
We had a large family group stay on the very grassy unpowered sites. Everything was perfect, facilities all very clean and great camp kitchen. So good to be able to have a fire. Sharon and Chris are excellent managers, making sure we were happy with everything. A perfect park. Thankyou for having us.

Heathcote Queen Meadow Caravan Park
Heathcote Queen Meadow Caravan Park was a lovely stay for us and our little dog. The park is spacious with numerous clean amenity blocks, a lovely camp kitchen set in a spacious lawn area and a fenced off leash dog area where dogs can have a break from being on leash. The park is easy flat walking distance to the township for shopping, coffee and browsing. There are things to explore in the area that tell of the gold mining history and numerous drives you can do from Heathcote to see surrounding areas including Lake Eppalock and Bendigo. Thanks for a most enjoyable stay.

We stayed here as part of a large group - half stayed in cabins half on powered sites. The staff were wonderful, accommodating and welcoming. The caravan park was quiet, an easy walk to the local pool. The cafes are also a quick and easy walk. The amenities were clean. The cabins were basic but very clean. There are also camp kitchens and a fire pit. We will be back to stay, we all loved it. Thank you.

Heathcote Queen Meadow Caravan Park
We stayed a night here to break a long journey with our small children who were jetlagged after arriving from Scotland. This was great, there were Kangaroos on the lawn in the morning, and possums in the tree outside our cabin. The cabin had everything we needed. The dinner at the local pub was brilliant and the playpark on the main road through was brilliant.

Very friendly owners and accommodating, we turned up without a booking and they fitted us in with no drama's as we have a big unit. Grounds beautifully maintained, plenty of amenities around the grounds. Close walk to town and public swimming pools.

My wife and i travelled up from Melbourne, to view an Onsite caravan and annex (advertised on Gumtree) at this Caravan Park.(2 weeks ago today)As we arrived, before the van owner did, we thought it would be a good chance to,1) Speak with park Management, and ask some questions.Questions like (annual) fees, overnight fees, power meter operation, if park had been flooded (after the past heavy rains late last year), and any chance that the park would be redeveloped (in the near future) etc.We did explain to Tim (Manager) that this was our 'First time' (potentially) to purchase an Onsite van, and we had to make sure we had (as much) information before committing to this.2) Have a look around the park, amenities, facilities, cleanliness, etc3) Look at the van location (site #) and do a 'walk around' on the outside of the van, annex, flyover, etc before the owner arrived.4) Look through the caravan and annex, etcAfter having a look around the park, through the caravan/annex, speaking with the park manager and owner of the onsite van,My wife and i discussed everything we had seen and spoken about, on our way home, we both agreed it ticked All the boxes.1)Van price2)Annex with ensuite3)Caravan park location (travel distance to/from our home)4)Park fees5)Pet friendly6)Overall cleanliness of van and parkAll boxes were ticked. So we contacted the van owner, that we would purchase her van,She said she would contact Management, (at the park), of her selling the van, and we'd need to organize a 'New', 12 month contract, by the Managers, to be allowed to use the van in the future.Well, a few days later, the van owner messaged us and said, the Caravan park Management were not keen on issuing us a New contract, for unknown reasons never told to us directly. When i heard this, i immediately contacted the park, and spoke with Barbara, (Tim's wife)She told us, Tim had some doubts, with some questions we had asked, and as she 'wasn't there' and 'didn't meet us', (in person), she'd get her husband to call us back in 2 or so days,To discuss this further with usI gave her my mobile number, and we waited for a call back,Now (more than) a week later, and still nothing.I even sent the park an email, 3-4 days ago, and still no reply. to date.Is this the way potential customers should be treated?I think not. They have lost any business' we would have given them. And now a 1 star google review. No Not Happy.
