Contramestre Grao has a unique approach to teaching Capoeira that I haven't seen in any other school in Perth in that he has no customers - only students. He is very true to his lineage through Bantus to Mestre Joao Peqenuo and maintains affiliation with a selection of Mestres of his school while at the same time mainly adhering to the philosophy of Mestre Pintor allowing the diversity of each student to develop into their own unique style - shunning the militant , uniformed and cultish ways of so many other Capoeira groups.Capoeira Angola provides the main influnce to Bantus style
