Carter Road Companion Animal Practice
We came in today to see Dr Kelvin for our 2 greyhounds (Misty and Ace), had such an amazing experience and very lucky to have been recommended this place by a few people. He is a very caring vet and great with the animals and also doesn't charge you an arm and leg! We are definitely going to be coming back to see him from now on! We travel far to come here but it's totally worth it! Wish we could rate it more than 5 stars!

Kelvin & his team are absolutely fantastic. My family and myself have been going to Kelvin since 2008 and have never looked anywhere else! Would absolutely recommend Companion Animal Practice for the best care of your furry friends.

Kelvin has a compassionate heart and certainly knows everything about animals. If by a minute chance he doesn't he will research and give you his findings. His care for ALL animals certainly exceeds his care for not only those hooman" adopted animals we call 'pets' or 'family but for the birds of the sky and animals of the land. Always there to help. Can't recommend him more."

We were recommended Companion Animal by a friend who highly praised Kelvin and Nicole and we completely understand why.Both Kelvin and Nicole have been incredibly caring and knowledgeable each time we’ve visited with our dogs; any questions are answered in a friendly, patient and informative manner. We are out of area but more than happy to travel because of the friendliness and kindness and professionalism of Nicole, Kelvin and all staff here!

Dr Kelvin is the rare vet who cares for the patients more than their owners - his ability to read the animal's symtoms and figure out the problem makes you think he can communicate with them a la Dr Dolittle!! The clinic is fully equipped including a CAT Scan (which can used to scan dogs too! ) - and ultrasound. Our pet dog was refusing food and spewing - we were referred to Kelvin for a scan . During the scan he found a foreign body in the abodmen and immediately opearated - even though it was a Sat afternoon and he had family committments. The dog ahs now recovered fully - I cannot be grateful enough to the good Doc for this miracle.

Came in today with my pup who's been licking and nibbling on his paws for a couple weeks now. Realised this morning he has cracked metacarpal paws and one of which the skin was peeling off. I was told to come at 11 though wasn't seen until 12. The vet saw him for literally a minute to look at the paws and says there's nothing wrong. I was charged $80. He didn't have a consultation nor was he diagnosed or treated.

Definitely recommend this vet clinic. Kelvin and Nicole are fantastic and are so caring and compassionate towards their patients. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
