I went in to Games Workshop Cheltenham about a year ago with a urge to paint some minis, I was greeted by the store manager there, Jenny I thinkAnd was given almost what seemed like a private tour of the entire store and all it’s glory.She asked me heaps of questions trying to find out what I’d like to paint and what armies intrigued me the most, it finally came down to what I thought looked the most badass...the new blood angels chaplain was my choice in the end.I was helped with all the paints I’d needed, any books I may want to help me paint (this would be my first model) and any tips and tricks to paint this dude.A year later and I finally got around to completing my Chaplain (busy year) my first model is complete and every time I look at it I always think of that first time a year ago I stepped into Gameworkshop Chelt and took a chance on finding a potential new hobby....safe to say now I’ll be visiting this store every chance I get to pick up new minis, paints, materials and tips!Awesome store, awesome people, awesome game.

Bit disappointed honestly. From out of town where these stores don't exist. Online hours said they were open. Door hours even said they were open.They were not open.

Came in here with a friend since she was looking for D&D minis. And even though they didn’t stock them (and we didn’t buy anything) the lady was super friendly to us! Great store <3

Manager is great and there's a very friendly atmosphere. A lot regular games going on as well.

If I could please take a moment and encourage people to go and visit the local GW. The reason is that the can answer more questions and help so much more than the webstore can. And when you buy from the shop, it supports the shop and this helps you and the local gaming community.Just had a very very helpful conversation with Cheltenham shop manager who guided me towards a much better option then the one that I had in my head when I walked in. If I had just bought from webstore then the benefit of that experience and knowledge would have been lost.Support your local shop.

Friendly, welcoming staff have created a safe and inclusive community here. New comers and old hands alike are welcome, the manager is highly knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to assist a friendly customer. I can't wait until covid restrictions lift and we can game on the tables and have painting competitions again. Great place!
