This restaurant specialises in Vietnamese cuisine which was, unfortunately mediocre at best. All the elements are there to make this restaurant great although I feel they have placed more focus on presentation of their dishes instead of the quality and taste of the food they serve. Update: decided to give it another go, I ordered broken rice with the lot, regretfully more focus is still placed on food presentation and is lacking in taste and quality of ingredients used. Remains at 3 stars for me unfortunately...

Best pork chop broken rice I've ever had. The pork chops were tender and fatty with an edge of crispiness. The rice was the perfect texture. I added some prawn spring rolls and they were so crunchy on the outside but with plenty of tasty prawn meat inside. Just the best, what a treasure.

The Beef with Egg Sauce on Steamed Rice tasted nice with the chilli oil. The beef was soft and not overdone which was good, and the egg sauce was nice too. All the other dishes we ordered came out really fast. Their com tam smelled proper nice. I was stuffed by the end haha.

- Grilled Pork Bowl w Satay and Dry Vermicelli- Prawn Rice Paper Roll- Wonton Soup w Rice Noodle- BBQ Pork Bowl w Rice Noodle Dry- Honey Chicken in Batter- Vegetarian Spring RollsI was recommended this authentic Vietnamese restaurant by one of my best friends, who swears it is her favourite. My favourite out of all the meals ordered was the Grilled BBQ Pork bowl, I felt so healthy and fresh afterwards. The honey chicken was also delicious and apparently their avocado smoothie (sounds odd I know) is amazing!

over all nothing amazing, menu suffers from being way too long, the soup my friends got was nice however. service was decent and fast, food was affordable but there was no atmosphere in the restaurant. the sauce on my rice was too sweet for my tastes. probably won't be returning in a hurry, it is decent restaurant tho.

The rudest owner and disgusting food we had in a long time. Save your money as the food here is not worth it and the owner attitude is 40 years behind present day mainstream Australia (2023).We ordered pho, dropped noodles (bánh canh), combo fried rice, beef fried rice, prawn with egg plant clay pot. Portion size is extremely small. Pho was not authentic and lacks depth and flavour. The rest of food a was not eatable as it was very salty, over cooked and too much msg.To top it off the avocado smoothie was bitter consistent with un-ripen (still hard) avocado. I asked the waitress for a replacement smoothie provided there was ripen avocado otherwise I was happy to get a lychee instead. A couple minutes later an older man, I assumed the owner bought the bitter avocado back to our table to tell me that there is no problem with the avocado smoothie and he has sold 100 today without any complaints. I re-assert to him that the bitterness is from un-ripen avocado and he was so rude and arrogant and maintained that the avocado smoothie is all good.I accept that coming to Footscray is for the food, not the service but the level of ignorance, uncultured and unprofessional shown by the owner is unprecedented. I quickly paid and left in disgust without finishing our meal and left the entire bitter avocado smoothie behind. Unfortunately the food and service was terrible.
