I went to steward house 4 times growing up cause my parents wanted a break and myself sister brother loved staying there getting well look after and doing schooling during the week and it’s still operating until this day and inspired other children to attend steward house that are having different situations happen in their lives and it’s truly amazing place to stay and keep up with the good work you do guys.cheers

I went to Stewart house and stayed for 2 weeks a good couple of years ago. To this day, i only remember being happy while there. I made heaps of friends but unfortunately lost contact with all but 2 of them. Those 2 girls are some of my closest friends now. Thank you for this amazing experience Stewart House :)

I went here around March 2014 when I was in year 6 let me tell you I had the best times of my life there with the amazing friends I made and the amazing staff there. I remember 3 staff in particular who were Simon, Bob and Daniel. I used to watch the DVD everyday and everytime I watched it I would get so emotional. This was until I sadly lost it as I moved houses. The carbans were amazing, I remember being in the upstairs Boys carban and the gaming room was right across from it. I wish one day I can get in contact with the friends I made there. Thank you Stewart house and keep putting smiles on the students with the amazing works you're doing. God bless this place.

I attended Stewart House in 2007 & it was honestly the best time of my life. From crossing the Harbour bridge, going to the Powerhouse Museum, going to the footy, visiting Curl Curl beach & a bunch of other activities I experienced over the 2 weeks I attended, I couldn't imagine a better time. At the time I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD or Aspergers, but the staff always made me feel extremely welcome. Hell, I was even in the newspaper for their 25th anniversary, after asking if I could join a group of kids in what they were doing, having no idea they were doing a photoshoot. If your child has the opportunity to attend Stewart House, please let them go, it will honestly be the best time of their life. If I am ever in the position to donate a substantial amount to Stewart House, I would in a heartbeat as they are honestly an organisation that is dedicated to helping disadvantaged kids, as I once was, & give them a much needed opportunity to make the most out of their lives.

As someone who went there in 2016 when I was in year 6, the experiences I had at this place really helped my mental health, even meeting some really valuable friends that I'm friends with up to this day. The activities also were very fun and helped me get better mentally. However the staff of the time there were really poor and abusive and I didn't know when I was there but for some kids who have other problem, it could really cause an issue on their child. The first day or two being there we all got yelled at because of a kid who graffitied on the wall and they yelled at us in a way that I have never experienced before at a child that age. Another period the toxic staff was apparent happened when there was one night where there was chatter at night due to being in a young cabin. But the way the staff member on night duty handled the situation was really terrible and really abusive. There was full on yelling and the staff member later punishing all the cabin instead of pulling away the individual children who is causing the problem. Later she made us go to sleep at like 7pm instead of the previous 9:30pm and gaslighting all the kids saying that it was our fault for doing that. My cabin was full of the ages 6- 12 so its really terrible. I'm surprised I didn't get traumatized by going

I visited Stewart House for two weeks back in 1968, I had a great time. I often think of the people I meet and the good time enjoyed by young people with out the problems associated with today lifestyle. I was 13 and my whole life was ahead of me. I've lived in the USA now for 30 years and still think back from time to time of my two weeks at Stewart House.

I believe it was 2017 when I had my visit, I was in year 5. The staff were really kind while I had my stay there, I didn't make many friends but it was an overall great experience. I remember going to the powerhouse museum and it was so pretty there. if I had the chance to go again I would take it!
