BIG W Merrylands

Loved the collection! Only problem is the public transport at night! Mostly no trains and less buses!

I have tried to call big w Merrylands a few times and was on hold 10 min each time . It’s not good customer service if they just choose to switch their phones to a voice mail . I never get that with other stores . I ordered an item the day before which was in stock and usually get a response to pick it up on the day or the next and I’m still waiting .

It's nice to walk into this store knowing that I will be greeted with a friendly hello and smile.

Well set out and very clean store. Staff were helpful in locating store items.

Manager wouldn't allow me in to get cat food as the entrance door had only just closed. Would not listen when I explained that Coles / Woolies had sold out of dry food (they only sell small bags anyway) and that I am a volunteer feeder for a charity (emergency food was required). All food is paid for by the volunteers & I was quite disappointed that I wasn't allowed in to grab literally one 8kg bag of cat food, especially as the store was still teeming with other shoppers wandering around. Zero empathy or understanding.

I purchased 2 raised garden beds online and went in store to pick them up.It was a hassle free experience. Not long after ordering, I received a text message that my goods were ready to be picked up.All the staff were lovely and helpful.

BigW Merrylands.A mate utilised Bigw click to collect service. It took just on 23.5 hours to pick the order. Took way too long for a click to collect orderThen still had to be booked for the direct to boot pick up. Minimal instructions on texts where to go to pick up in parking bays. When they arrived the 3 direct to boot car park bays were being parked in by other irresponsible shoppers whom wanted to possibly park next to the entry doors. They had to park the car several spots over as was busy and get out of the car to wait for staff to arrive. Able to be picked up eventually except for the ignorance of irresponsible car owners parked in the 3 direct to boot car park bays allocated for BigW customers to pick up orders and there apparently was plenty of signage.They say you got to drive up in the corner near the doors in the suggested Bigw parking area on level 4 green, can also take Treves St ramp to level 4 green and drive up the other end.Feel free to follow Wozzel local guide on Google maps. This Big W is well stocked and very neat. Seemed to be a larger shop than others. I found everything I was looking for, will definitely go back.

I purchase a seed bag from Big W and turned out it was full of insects. It did spread in my whole house, made my life hell for few days.when contacted Big W, they assured me that they are actively looking for pest control and will also consider about compensation.After 2 weeks was told, no pest control, no compensation. just deal it urself.Worst of all , they had rotten bag of seed on their aisle full of little insects, which I had to remind them to remove from Aisle. It must have been there for months.If you come across such incident, dont count on them. sort it out urself.worst customer service, waste of time taking to Big W.Just words !!! No Action !!
