Rotary Lookout
This lookout is great. However if you’re just going to the Rotary Lookout, don’t be deterred by the sign that says “experienced hikers” at the beginning. It’s an easy walk to the lookout, the path is clear and there are well made steps. You can continue on to other areas, I don’t know what that track is like, so use caution. It can also be a bit windy at the top!

Great views! Do wear shoes if you walk up, path is ok on flip flops, but ramp to final platform (cheese grater metal) is quite slippery to get back down again.

Great hike and excellent views. Short 15 minute hike to the lookout point or you can make it a 3 mile circuit with lots of elevation changes to Murray beach and an old WWII radar site with excellent views. Great for kids or adults with a good cardio workout.

Rotary Lookout
Wonderful place, the rotary pathway is great for sport, it's 5 Km long. However, you better use sunscreen as well as insect repellent to avoid any disturbance. You may see some small lizards which are not harmful. But most important is to watch your steps. I believe the place could be dangerous for young children. If you are a family with young children you can spend wonderful time on the Horseshoe Bay or Grey's Bay.

Such a beautiful walk with stunning views! The walk is fairly easy, however some sections can be a bit slippery with the gravel over some rocks.

An absolutely stunning place. The views over horseshoe bay and Murray bay are spectacular. When the skies are clear you can even see all the way to the withsunday islands.The track up to the vote point is good and an easy walk. It takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes depending on your pace.When in Bowen you should definitely get up here and take in the view.

Nice break from driving, to stretch my legs and see some nice views. There is a geocache here, but I didn't really look for it. Free public toilets, and an enclosed beach near the carpark.

Rotary Lookout
Great views from the lookout. Hike was a bit difficult but totally worth it when you reach the top. A must do when in horseshoe bay.
