Rippon Lea Estate
Such a hidden gem of a place. Lovely helpful staff. Brilliantly kept gardens full of all sorts of secrets and memories of the the estates history. If you a plant lover or take an interest in the past a visit is a must!

Fort Glanville
Attended for the May open day, which was at night. We got to see re-enactments in historically accurate uniforms and firing of the old canons and rifles. We got to take a tour of the fort.

Runnymede House - National Trust Tasmania
Don't bother going. Despite signage and web site information Bookings are essential. However even if you book and turn up there may be no one there. The gate is open but the house is not. Apparently very few volunteers are available. National Trust need to look into the management of this site. Many of the trees in the garden are not well maintained and unhealthy. Sad to see places like this inaccessible to the public.

Historic Stannum House
Loved Stannum House. The view from the tower over looking Tenterfield amazing.Such an awesome house takes you back in time. $99 per room for 3 with a continental breakfast included.

Hanworth House
This is a special place with an interesting history. Hanworth House has been beautifully restored.Excellent space for a function or wedding.

Frys Flat
Picturesque campsite with toilets. Not much shade from the sun compared to other campsites in the area. Good river for swimming
