Such a hidden gem of a place. Lovely helpful staff. Brilliantly kept gardens full of all sorts of secrets and memories of the the estates history. If you a plant lover or take an interest in the past a visit is a must!

HiI went to this shop today to buy a gift, I decided to buy perfume, they had few testers , (next to the counter- inside ),I wanted to test and buy , as iam giving that as gift,I had one perfume bottle (tester) in my hand,it was tightly closed, I was trying to open , all of a sudden the old lady from the counter , came grabbed the perfume bottle from my hand, and placed in the shelf, she was very rude and was not listening what iam trying to say, ( because, she was very much interested to talk with her friend) , she acted as if iam going to take it and run away, this is the second time she is acting very rude, the young lady is very friendly.Very rude behaviour..

recommend to put a sign for people who pass by and want to vist. telling not to come in during certain non business hour. cos Google map wouldn't show straight away that's a private garden or open freely anytime.I walked in by mistake at 4.50. a dog tracing me and bark. quite scary. people with kids should be careful.owner was nice to tell not to come when no people at the gate.hope to visit next time.

Just a good place to be in an escape trip from city in a good sunny day. Not cost effective nor a good Cafe for filling up the stomach. Not that great coffee either. 10 for each just to see many not maintained parts of the garden could make one embarrassed. Good toilet facility tho.

A very interesting arid climate botanic gardens featuring Australian plants. The garden is both informative and beautiful with an onsite art gallery featuring original watercolours by Dorothy Gordon, wife of the founder Dave Gordon. Camping options available with powered sites, showers and toilets in a bush setting. Ideal for bike riding to explore the gardens and many trails and paths. Cottage and shearer quarters also available.

We really love going to Rosewood Cottage.The service is excellent. It has a lovely atmosphere, tasty food and is located in a beautiful setting with lovely views
