I currently am a year 9(2022) and I genuinely like the school and the some teachers are great and help those with disabilities for instance me I have adhd and dyslexia and my best friend has adhd and autism and they they take the time to help us and some teachers sware at us and when it comes to bullies they do bull they care more about socks then our mental state other then that it genuinely is a good school.I’ve been here since year 2 and im looking for a change u do eventually get sick of the school and some get sick of it quicker then others for me it’s taken 7 years and for others it took a year.

Very good school, my both kids attending this school since year 1.

I’ve attended this school since prep and I’m now in year 7. I love this school, it’s like my second home but the teachers don’t care very much about you but more your uniform and behaviour. I don’t plan on moving schools anytime soon but my parents say otherwise, they hate this school with a passion but I don’t really know why. This school will always be my second home.

Worst experience I’ve had, so glad that I moved away for my last two years. I was punished more for not being able to afford a spray jacket and wearing a different one in the rain than the kids who bullied me were over the entire 4 years.

BEST SCHOOL EVER been there since prep- half of year 5 but sadly i had to move to cairns but the school i'm going now is great

I adore attending the school, but I find it is holding rude children and is unhygienic and disgusting in some areas of the premises. I have good friends and look forward to seeing the school further improved. Just hope the problems I pointed out will be fixed. Other than that, most teachers and students are nice.

Hazel glen is the worst school ever.They don't do anything but troll students with no knowledge no Manners.People there are horrible. They will bully you to the core.My new school is so much better.Y'all should change your kids school

This school will not let you be negative for a second without saying that you have a “fixed mindset” no I don’t have a “fixed mindset” I have a realistic mindset, not everything is sunshine and rainbows, it is dangerous to teach kids to rat on people because if someone did that in the real world and the wrong person found out they’d be dead. This school is an absolute joke, it teaches you about pointless things that will inevitably be useless due to technological advances. Teach us important things like how our credit scores work and how to apply for a mortgage, pay our taxes, BASIC FIRST AID and other more important things, as cool as the quadratic formula is, I doubt it’s going to help me improve my financial situation and help me raise kids that I may or may not want to have. Teach us things that will help us in the real world and stop pretending that all is well. Oh and if you’re going to punish students bullying that are bullying other students then maybe you should punish teachers that are bullying the quiet students. PARENTS PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL!!!

For such a large school, my daughter still gets individual help were required. Hazel Glen can offer a large amount of electives. Teachers at the school are committed and make learning enjoyable. Highly recommended.
