Absolutely love Galeb Brothers BJJ Southside. We put our son in last year just after he turned 5 and it has made a world of difference to his confidence, self-defence and leadership. He has made many friends too! The Professor and Coach that teach the kids are so patient and it’s great to know the kids are learning from the best. Loads of friendships have been made and we love all the parents too. Always makes coming to class that much more enjoyable. Thank you for all that you’ve done for our boy. We can’t wait to put our other one into the program when he turns 4!

My daughter started Bjj just a little over 3 years ago with Galeb Brothers Southside and still up until this day looks forward to training. Training at Southside has taught her to be more disciplined, confident and to show respect for herself and others.In the 3 years of training under Professor Paulo my daughter has decided she wanted to train at a more competitive level and to represent the gym. She has won many state titles and even travelling to Melbourne in August 2022 for a shot at the Australian National Jiu Jitsu title and was victorious.If competing is not for you, do not worry.. a lot of members are there to train, to get fit or to learn a new skillset. My 5 year old girl and 11 year old boy absolutely love going to jujitsu and will go everyday they can. The Professor Paulo and coach Tom are great with the kids and the kids love them. I would definitely recommend if considering getting your kids to try it out. Great for fitness, strength and confidence but they really learn so much more each lesson, to respect themselves and others and to be helpful etc as the Professor speaks to them about this each lesson.

If you are wanting your child to build self confidence while becoming fit this is by far the best way to do it. With the highly trained and professional instructors your child or children are in great hands. If you’re unsure just give it a try as I’m sure all parents will do their best for their children and Galeb Brothers will do the same.

Coming up on 12 months now since joining the Galeb Southside team. When I started, I had no idea what BJJ was really about, I couldn’t have been more outside of my comfort zone walking into the academy. Galeb Brothers BJJ Soithside is a beautiful training center for kids and adult classes! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, making it easy for first time walk-ins to feel comfortable when visiting. The professors and coaches are skilled and well suited to be teaching kids and adults in the variety of classes they have to offer.I’ve really come to appreciate the cleanliness and care of the facility. You can tell the owner cares for his school and students. I highly recommend visiting and training at this location!

A well established dojo with very experienced and passionate professors. My children have been with galeb brothers for years now and have enjoyed every moment. The skills and discipline they have gained is impressive not to mention the added bonus of ongoing friendships.
