Our experience was nothing short of fantastic. We initially hired a vehicle from another mainstream company at the airport, we were told we couldn't take the vehicle over to Magnetic Island. It was Sunday and our ferry was booked. Even if another mainstream hire company allowed it, they weren't open. Meteor Car Rentals were open, extremely helpful, fast and friendly. The vehicle was immaculate and on return were happy to drop us at the airport. I highly recommend this company and in future will look for them first when visiting north Queensland.

We rented a little MG for 9 days. Fantastic, helpful and friendly service. Picked us up in minutes from the airport, and at the end of the rental dropped us at Magnetic Island ferry terminal. Car was great, and their pricing was well below the big firms with whom we have had terrible experiences. Would definitely recommend Meteor.

Very friendly and helpful service with our last minute request. Then to top it off they gave us a courtesy transfer to the ferry terminal on return of the car. Would highly recommend 1300Meteor for your car hire needs in Townsville.

I did alot of research in finding the cheapest hire truck to move my house over a weekend, and these guys came up triumphs. Great customer service and showed how to use the equipment which was appreciated. Made the whole process of moving that little bit easier. Highly recommend
