We engaged Modern Cottages for a full renovation of our workers cottage. Whilst the builder's engagement and work initially appeared to be of a high standard, it became increasingly apparent through the course of the works and subsequently that there was lack of thought in design aspects and attention to detail, and the work was not completed to an appropriate standard. When approached regarding the various issues identified the builder became adversarial, and we ultimately had to engage alternate contractors to deal with the problems. Could not in good faith recommend.

Modern Cottages did a fantastic job on my farm up at Ocean View. I engaged Modern Cottages to build 4 stables, a tack shed, wash bay, and all new horse fences. The outcome was better than could be imagined and I'm very happy with the quality of the job. Additionally, Modern Cottages completed a kitchen renovation for me. I'm very pleased with the outcome and the professional conduct and attention to detail.Would definitely recommend Modern Cottages.

Kim is one of the most attentive and quality conscious builders in Brisbane, I have had a pleasure to work for him on many of his projects and to this day Modern Cottages is one of the best there is. Kim will go out of his way to make sure projects run on time and he personally ensures every aspect of work is done properly. Highly recommended!
