Use to love this fish and chip shop but since the new young people started there they are lazy food is barely cooked everything is rushed owner needs to get new employees

Tonight's been the second time we have ordered from here. On the first occasion we got the meal home (we live another town away) and had fish missing and my partner had to go back. This being the second occasion we again had part of our meal missing and was offered $2! So yet again while part of our meal sits going cold my partner has had to travel a town over to collect what the rest of our meal (which was getting cooked after he called to tell them).. I understand that mistakes happen however to have 2 occasions in a row we won't be going back.

I used to adore this fish n chip shop , no longer.This is the second time this has happened..The chips were not freshly cooked , either reheated orMucked up on waiting time.. They were dry andTasted reheated. The dim sim was nearly black. The fish WAS black , as in picture. Such a shame , used to be brilliant !! IWouldn't go one star...

recently i ordered 6 dollars worth of chips from this establishment and i was absolutely appalled and disgusted when i saw a woman who was delivering open the door with a cigarette in her hand putting it out, i feel that its a violation of the food health and safety i do not feel like i want someone else's ashes and smoke smell on our food, we lived right around a corner seriously could she not hold of for that long, absolutely appalled at the service tonight, i also said i was paying with card and they didn't bring one so i had to rummage around for coins, please bring a portable eftpos machine

Terrible food, all over cooked. Small souvalaki's, asked for garlic sauce and got some gravy looking sauce in it instead! It was horrible. The flake was thin as cardboard, tasteless & dry. Scallops were overcooked, so were the hot jam donuts. Was charged more than the actual price advertised on the shops price board. All up spent $80 and threw most of it out. Rang and complained, but young people only running it and had no clue. Won't be back. Terrible experience

I have heard good things about this place since they had been taken over by new owners, but after getting my food, I could not be anymore disappointed. The souvlakis were of a lesser quality and volume that I would make at the house. I have never purchased a souvlaki where there is room in the wrap for more food. If they want to continue to be successful in a small town, I would seriously consider the quality of their food and improve significantly. Will never be returning. Given the quality of the food, the cost was way overpriced. Much better on offer locally.

Went to newb fish and chips, heaps of chips for the price. Cooked beautiful and crispy. Delicious, will be going back . Service very friendly
