Do a great job, found a cat for my 86 year old mother in-law, lost her elderly dog not long a go and hasn't it cheered her up. Great price needles and microchiped for less than a$100

A great experience! We adopted a lovely little boy from here about a week ago. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend lost Dogs Home if you're looking for a new furbaby.

We lost our family cat of 10 years. We received a letter from the Cranbourne Lost Dogs home saying they had our cat. We called and called and called and never got a response. When we finally got in touch they said they put our cat down. This was not their decision to make and had they answered our call we would still have our family pet.

We got our new little cat from the Lost Dogs Home...we went online with one cat in mind and brought home a different, beautiful little girl. The staff are very caring and take time to ensure you choose the right fur baby. Love our little rescue girl. Thanks heaps guys.

I’m disgusted on how this organisation operates. We had a Stray cat which we had taken to emergency and the council had gave it to this shelter in Cranbourne. The cat was still able to walk, eat ,play and drink. We had put our names to adopted that cat until quarantine period was over. We came and visit the shelter saying that the cat is being well looked after. We later called just to hear that the cat was being put to sleep. Reading the 1 star review it is a common practice and similar situation. IfI knew this would happen I would have kept the cat in my hands. You must feel great euthanising animal just because it had no owners.

Staff very friendly they were delighted to take the beds, towels, dog treats, dogs bowls etc. We were surprised however that they didn't want to take the $1600 worth we offered them of medications. These were not specific to any particular dog.

Really well set out. Great service. All staff were wonderful. As you can see our little boy has settled in really well.

Overall good experience, our dog went missing in Springvale was found in Clayton then dropped off at Kingston council in Highett then taken here to Cranbourne.Good customer service, alot of hoops to jump through which I guess is good so your pet does not get claimed by a stranger. The facility is as good as it can be whilst housing so many animals as some of the enclosures are outdoors which may be concerning on hot days.Once the paperwork was sorted out it was a smooth process to collect our dog.One downside was parking is ridiculously narrow just to be mindful of.
