Callington Mill Distillery
What a beautiful place. We stopped here on the way to Hobart. We didn't get to stay long but did look around and it is a place that you must visit if you are in Oatlands. It was very busy. The mill and the old building's are amazing. I would go back if holiday in Tasmania again. Oatlands is a beautiful town and i feel that it's under rated i would recommend it to anyone heading to Hobart.

poltergeist gin is delish. we didn’t have a reservation so a tasting was out if the question. thanks to a friendly attendant, we were able to buy a bottle of their flagship gin and be on our way.

What a beautiful place to stop and wander around. The history here is wonderful and the windmill and surrounding building have been beautifully restored and maintained. A lovely way to spend half an hour exploring.

Very nice site surrounding the historic wind mill and the distillery. We came for a stroll on Christmas day last year and really liked the atmosphere. Unfortunately, we could not enter any of the sights, because we had our dog with us.

Fabulous food and atmosphere. We enjoyed a sumptuous late lunch accompanied by a whiskey tasting paddle each. Walked around the fully open and accessible grounds after. When we purchased a bottle of whiskey they subtracted the $30 of one of our tasting paddles. Food was shared platters with nearly everything gluten free. Can’t recommend this highly enough. The highlight of our Tassie holiday thus far.

Incredible from start to finish. Amazing food and well worthwhile prices, impeccable presentation and excellent portions. Perfect service and attentive. Blair was great with the distillery tour and the tasting was spot on. Highly recommended.
