Very disappointing after giving Con my business for over 10 years.Major engine damage to a vehicle with under 40,000km, serviced by Con since new.Con failed to pick up in regular services the diesel injectors were loose and air was leaking into the engine block, fowling the oil, carbonising the exhaust and diesel particulate filter, creating back pressure. This is feedback from a diesel specialist who correctly diagnosised the issue and repaired the vehicle.Con was only interested in turning off DPF and oil warning lights and not diagnosising the cause, despite seeing him on three different occasions about escalating DPF and oil warning issues. I even queried Con on why the engine oil was so quickly fowled after each service.Whilst resetting the engine oil light, Con didn't even want to check the oil with the dip stick, so I did it and pointed out the oil was outside parameters, despite being serviced less than 2 months / 500km ago. He drained oil, reset the warning lights and assured me the vehicle was good for my 2500km road trip.I got 400km into the road trip and the engine warning lights for DPF and critical service came on.I called Con for advice and was unhelpful and said find an exhaust specialist.The local country mechanical workshop could not believe my mechanic (Con) could not see the cause of the problem, being leaking injectors and it was so obvious. It took less than 1 minute to diagnose. The images the mechanic provided showed oil all around the top of the engine block, below a plastic housing which is normally poped off for service.It was not short trips causing the DPF to clog and oil fowling issue, it was the poor servicing my vehicle had in the hands of Con.The vehicle was repaired by the country mechanic and the issues resolved.I returned loyally to Con to calmly discuss what had happened and how it could have been overlooked with his servicing. I was still prepared to hear what Con thought and remain loyal. Con's reply to the images of the injectors and fowled filters was dismissive and said go find a diesel specialist. So who would that be Con? I don't know Con said. But isn't your ute a diesel Con? Yes, he replied.

Excellent service by Heath as Con was away . Treated my wife who knows little about cars professionally and explained every little detail so that she was clear and fixed my issues and even offered a follow up later. Very reasonable prices as well. Very happy again.

Even though they were incredibly busy, they were able to do an urgent repair on my car, with no fuss and efficient service. It was done when they said it would and price was reasonable. I'm glad I found this place. Will be back.

The best mechanic I have even been to - honest, knowledgeable, reliable and super fair prices. Have referred a few others here and everyone agrees. I won’t go anywhere else if I can avoid it and continue to travel despite now living about an hour away.
