I'm a little confused by the set up. I think it's meant to be a speakeasy bar but with the loud music and huge crowds, it was far from easy to have a conversation.Heard the whiskey apple was the house special and I was impressed with the freshly juiced apple and $13 price tag.I wasn't impressed, however, by the bartender's attitude. I asked for a darjeeling cooler (cocktail) to which he quite pretentiously asked what it was. I showed him the recipe and he said shortly they don't have the liquers. He asked where I had it and, when I told him in another bar, he mockingly said, of course we don't have it then. Each bar has its own specials". A darjeeling cooler is a pretty old cocktail so I'd imagine and bar worth its 2 cents would stock liquers to make a drink its customer requests. Furthermore

The cocktails and ambience were both excellent. It's always a pleasure to visit a bar that knows how to make great drinks and create a welcoming atmosphere for its patrons.While it's unfortunate that there was a lack of variety in the food options available, it's clear that this didn't detract too much from my overall experience. It's worth noting that some bars may prioritize their beverage offerings over food, so this may have been a deliberate choice on their part. Overall 89 out of 100

Huge range of whiskeys (although my first choice wasn’t available, second choice was excellent). Jamon and crisps was delicious and a perfect pairing with the whiskey. It would have been nice to have live music earlier (there is a late session, but the bar seemed busy enough earlier). A really cool vibe and helpful staff.

Great live music, warm ambience, awesome staff, good snacks and 100s of drinks to choose from. Loved my short visit with friends. Really a place to go if you are in Canberra.

Great range of drinks, all of which are made to perfection. The Bartenders are very attentive to detail and excellent at what they do.Service is super friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. The occasional live music is fun too, sometimes a bit loud, but it is what it is. Overall 10/10 and recommend to all my mates

Nice jazz jam on Wednesdays, good cocktails. Service sometimes slow when busy, but that's to be expected with cocktails and a busy buzzy bar.

Gorgeous venue. Definite speak easy vibes with large wooden booths, bar with hundreds of bottles and low lighting.Menu had pages of whiskies from all over the world. Lots of cocktails and other spirits.Drinks were tasty and well presented.Would recommend this bar for catch-ups, dates & impressing friends.

You are not going to get much better than this in ACT/ NSW! A very cool bar with great music/really well lit/ on the ball staff and the room is gorgeous. The drinks were flowing and all in all an excellent experience ... well done Molly's Team!!

Love the atmosphere of Molly. Dimmed lights, smooth jazz, and a gorgeous bar make it one of my favourite spots for a drink in town. The bartenders were quick at assisting with suggestions and had excellent cocktail knowledge. I was a little hesitant about receiving my Manhattan pre-mixed from a barrel, but surprisingly it had no lack of quality. As a fan of whiskey, the menu was an absolute joy to explore. Will be returning again in future, perhaps to try some of the more ridiculous drinks — like the absinthe frappé.
