Absolutely loved this winery. From the incredibly friendly service, to the delicious tasting platter full of locally sourced produce. Not to mention the great variety of wines they had. A great spot to spend a weekend lunch, indoors with a fireplace during winter or outdoors overlooking their farm animals.

A real find in the gorgeous village of Exeter: a beautiful cellar door set amongst the vines where you get warmly welcomed not only by the hosts, but also by their smoochy Alpacas and Kevin their Border Collie.The whole experience is wonderful: the wines are fantastic, the hosts are so friendly and knowledgeable, and as well as wines they make and sell pickles, spirits and other fabulous goodies. Definitely worth the trip to this part of the Highlands.

Beautiful wines - not quite the conventional styles commonly encountered in the highlands, but experimental, and clearly successful. A young winery doing all the right things. Fiano and Grenache are highlights. Thanks for your hospitality and catering for us! We will be back (and will definitely order again once we go through the 8 purchased today).

Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon spent at Dawning Day Farm.Meeting the gorgeous Kevin was also a highlight.Loved the wines, gin & sherry. Also the tasty condiments.Made a purchase and everything was shipped to me in Brisbane so efficiently.Definitely a must winery to visit.

Beautiful and cosy venue with a warm fire, perfect for a winter wine adventure. Fantastic and welcoming staff complimenting some delicious wines! Tony the cat and Kevin the Border Collie were added delights for pet lovers.

This relatively new, small and intimate cellar door had friendly, fun and knowledgeable staff. Great varietal of wines where anyone could find a drop to suit their palate. You will also enjoy their tasty cheese platter of local produce, the pickles were a highlight. We also loved the company of Kevin, the resident border collie who would meet and greet all clients on arrival. Definitely would recommend, but would prefer a redeemable cost off wine purchases with the $15pp wine tasting fee.
