Wow, this is what I call a real butcher's shop, just like 'the good old days'. Fantastic selection of meat and cuts, these guys really know what they are doing. Meat display looks great and prices are very reasonable for the quality.Staff were also very friendly, all three guys working today acknowledged me with a smile and a genuine hello. I'm impressed, well done, I'll be back next time I'm in Ballarat. Check out the fabulous chopping block too!!!

The service is always and I mean always exceptionally high. I have two small children and they will carry my purchases to the car for me when my children are with me. Plus they always acknowledge them as well which is sweet. The corned beef is the best, not too salty. My family will only eat ham and salami from this butcher because it has flavour. Its not the cheapest in town but it is the best quality by far

This is an exceptional butcher shop with ‘the best of the best’ produce backed up by knowledgeable and courteous staff. Had the scotch fillet last night. I knew it was going to be good with incredible marbling throughout the fillets and it was amazing. Whilst in store , saw one of the butchers help a lady with a baby , take the goods to her parked car with a big smile. This what makes this place special.

Expensive and terrible quality. Sausages I got were the saltiest sausages I’ve ever eaten and very expensive. The schnitzels had a very very thick coating with weird bits of chill through it and the chicken was so tough and chewy when cooked. It tasted of bad ham . I couldn’t feed it to my toddler it was that bad. The dog got schnitzels for dinner that night.

Excellent quality and value. This is the only place I've found around that stocks free range pork and the quality of all of the meat tells me that John makes excellent choices about his suppliers. All of the butchers working here are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
