Lavington Doctors

Went to book an appointment today & Dr Rubina was the only one available (I usually come in to see her only when my doctor is fully booked out), I took the appointment that was available & came up on their system that I was no longer allowed to have ongoing appointments with her & was forced to go through another doctor. This is absolutely ludicrous in my opinion, I have always treated her with common courtesy & respect, or when it came down to it I treated her how she treated me...Rubina Mirza is very rude, negligent & doesn't take her pateients seriously. I have had many very bad consultations with doctor Rubina. She doesn't listen to you about your problems & would much rather call you a liar & makes continuous efforts to make you feel worse than when you came in. A real doctor is always compassionate & understanding with their patients & listens to them with sincere efforts to get them what they need but I don’t know how she’s practicing as a doctor with that kind of behaviour nor do I know how she is deemed professional". She should be sacked immediately & her license should be revoked. I don’t recommend Rubina Mirza to anyone & request everyone to not waste your money nor your time with her as she will only give you the bare minimum. Only one star rating because it's mandatory in order to leave a review.Absolutely appalling."

Had a Teleheatlth appointments booked for 1:10pm today and no call by 5:10pm. Called the clinic to see why and was told that its only approx time with Telehealth appointments and that there were 6 people in the waiting room and it would be about another 1 1/2 hours till I was called. How can this be acceptable.

Receptionist is not polite for sure and I have been waiting for more than one and half hours today. Average 30 minutes. If anyone is late even by 5 minutes the appointments are deemed to be cancelled, however, 30 minutes waiting time is minimum for everyone who visits here. It seems that the time of customers are not valued. I am very worried, as there are no other options for Albury city people to avail a good hospital with professionals treatment and bulk billing option. If you are reading this and you have the power to change, please make one affordable healthcare here.

Such a disgust! Whenever i go there the receptionist is extremely rude beyond words. Once they literally called to say to come in 15 min and then made me and my partner wait an hour. There is no value of time i always have to wait 1 hour. And they are never apologetic and always repeat it. There is not even a queue. Rude and the worst doctors clinic ever

Doctor Mirza is an exceptional human being. She works incredibly long hours and is one of the last bulk billing doctors in the area. She continues to bulk bill at a loss to herself to help her patients. She works well past her finish time to make sure all her patients were properly seen and cared for. She does this day after day without fault. In all the years I have seen her she has shown the utmost compassion with me when I required medical support. Dr Mirza is a respectful, professional and considerate woman. I couldn’t rate her professionalism as a doctor high enough or thank her enough for her support. I wouldn’t see anybody else.

Waiting over 3 hours and receptionist was on phone and wouldn't let me cancel my appointment and charged me $40 not $20

Absolutely disgusting service, and I would recommend going elsewhere. The clinic is clearly short staffed, and the receptionist was rude. My husband waited an hour for his appointment after being told the wait was only 15 minutes. By this point his appointment time already passed. He ended up having to leave due to other time commitments as they couldn't say how much longer the wait would still be. Waiting over an hour after your appointment time without even offering an apology is unacceptable. The worst service ever. This clinic needs to step up its staffing and service.

Carol isn’t a great receptionist and whilst I appreciate being fitted in when my appointment somehow got cancelled for my daughter, she wasn’t friendly about it. Also why is the Dr not getting her patients seen in a timely matter? Whilst waiting an hour already I observed she was waiting at least 10 minutes between patients to call the next….so half an hour between 3 patients, what is she doing?? In the end I left because if I’ve waited 1 hour already imagine how much longer if I’d stayed with 3 people in front of me? She was telling other patients it would be 1/2 hour wait, I spoke up to them because it’s clearly longer than that so why can’t she just say the exact wait time?? Not good enough really. They need to make less appointment time slots so the wait time is less if the Dr can’t handle it.

This is my regular Gp practice . Open Long hours and weekends and even some public holidays. Only bulk billing place in Albury . Dr Rubina Mirza is a very professional and caring Doctor . I recommend her for anyone who is looking for a Gp Visit .

My original review for this clinic was positive but I've since moved elsewhere. I, along with my mother, see Dr Rubina. My mum booked in to see her for a referral following a medical diagnosis given to me. It was made clear by my specialist that my mother would need investigations of her own for the same issue. Dr Rubina totally dismissed my mother's request for a referral despite being told she needs it. Why she was so against just giving it, I don't know. I can understand someone asking for a referral when it's clear that's not necessarily but this was certainly not the case in my mother's situation and I feel that its just not good enough to refuse simply giving the referral. If you don't agree whatever, but let the specialist make that call!Unfortunately this clinic is one of the only local ones left to bulk bill which is a shame because many people can't afford to pay to see a Dr.I do like Dr Toby however. Since I can afford to pay Drs fees, I am happy to go elsewhere so I don't take up valuable slots for those who genuinely cannot afford it, but I would recommend you see Dr Toby over Dr Rubina if you need to go here for bulk billing. If you can afford to pay private fees, definitely do go elsewhere.
