Goodwill Shop

A Secondhand Wonderland.Housed in a beautiful old Queenslander in the main street of Rosewood this opshop is next to and part of the Uniting Church Goodwill Institution.It's beautiful with murals on the walls and rooms filled with quality stock.Clean, well sorted, very popular so they recieve a high turnover of donations which keeps stock evolving and fresh.There's a book room, a kids room, a women's clothes room, a men's clothes room, a verandah filled with bric-a-brac, nooks and crannies choker block with vintage, mainstream and collectibles.For hunters and creative's it's the kind of opshop that make dreams and possibilities a project reality.One of the best opshops for quality extra large sizes.The prices are old school and I visited when there was a winter sale picking up heavy flannel jackets for $1.50each.The staff are hard working with lovely old school country manners and laughter.No room for furniture but the church has regular sales that includes furniture.Access is tricky as its cramped and has stairs so not easy to get to if you are cruising on wheels with items up high.Always worth the drive.
