charcoal chicken was good but fish and chips are below par. salad was also ok not great.comapred to other charcoal chicken shops they also dont have much variety in salad.

The fish breading has a completely original flavor, that is incomparable in taste to anywhere else. We left feeling full and satisfied/ the preparation isn’t heavy or greasy! The owner is so friendly!

Chicken taste so good and cook to perfection. Hands down one of the best charcoal chicken in Melbourne. The only thing that is very noticeable is the ‘plastic cutlery’. Had difficulty to eat with it plus the environmental point of view not a very good idea to waste such a large number of plastic just for a dish. Apart from that everything was ok.

We actually wanted to check out a restaurant opposite here but they were closed so we went to Barghache instead. Wow. My wife's a picky charcoal chicken eater and she loved it! There's a little wait once you've ordered though because they'll need to char the chicken on charcoal for that fresh smokey flavour.

The chips were really soggy. Called the shop up to complain and asked to make another one. They said thats how their chips are and that they become soggy. Potato and fish cakes were pretty bad also. The flake was ok. They apologised for the soggy chips. Really need to improve or stop selling soggy chips.

Great food service, the best in Olsen place. Wide selection of food to choose from like charcoal chicken and fresh fish. Definitely would come here again.

We got charcoal chicken and other side's for a reasonable price here. The place was much cleaner then another one down the row. The service at the counter was meh. The Chicken and chips were great. Greek salad was ok but expensive. The garlic sauce had very strong essence and was very stingy, so should me a lot milder. Would come back and be more wiser in our selection.

Called first to ask simple question and could barely get legible English.When I arrived I found a shop that must have had the same the same name otherwise the staff just plain don't want customers because the interactions I got were pathetic, contradictory results in store that made the phonecall seem comprehensive and courteous. It's 2022. Act like it.
