Great people, great place, great beer. I am not usually a beer drinker but I like this beer. There are lots to choose from and they have new ones on tap every few months. The owners are lovely people and the staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable-some are learning to be brewers themselves. This is a great spot to go to meet up with friends or to meet new friends. There are no pokies or TVs to talk over the top of and the view is spectacular, especially on a full moon night. There are different food vans out the front from Thursday to Sunday who all serve good beer drinking food. We’ve made this our local.

This is the epitome of a craft brewery in FNQ, which also serves the best craft beer in FNQ, if not all of Queensland! Nothing beats enduring the tropical FNQ weather like enjoying a beer with a breeze and an incredible view.

Local craft beer with a cool breeze flowing through. Try the paddle for a little taste of everything on tap. The visiting food trucks really provide a rich microbrewery experience. Open from 12pm.

Only up on holidays but love this place , such a great venue that you can actually have a conversation with someone and not be drowned out with blaring music. The beer is great and having tried most I recommend the vanilla. Wish there was something like this back at home

Latitude 17 is the perfect beer. Love this venue and the food vans right outside! You can even play table games like Jenga and Uno!

Love this place! Food trucks are delicious. Great service. Lots of fresh air and breeze on a hot day. Wednesday night trivia is the best night of the week.

We travelled to cairns and went on a brewery tour, Macalister’s was by far our favourite! Beers were great (would highly recommend the Valentina Red Ale) staff and locals were super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Could have sat in there for the rest of the afternoon!

As a fan of darker beers, it is so good to see the diverse selection at Macalister. To find a hand-pulled ESB was superb and very rare in Qld. Really enjoyed it.
