Amazing wine and delicious food. Their shiraz was a real standout. We liked their wine so much we got multiples of them. Will definitely visit them again next time we are in Mudgee.

Had a fantastic experience at Walter Wines over the weekend. The wines were of a very high standard, the pizzas were delicious, and the staff were so kind and knowledgeable. We will certainly be back!

This was definitely one of the best wineries we got to visit in Mudgee. The experience during the tasting from the owner and the wines were absolutely fantastic. Could not recommend more highly.

I’m a mudgee local and having lived not far from this winery we decided to finally give it a try. Walter wines has that true cosy, rustic, country feel. The staff are wonderful and the Shiraz is one of the best I’ve tried! Sit out in the sun, enjoy a platter and cuddle up with Elmo the sausage dog!

Walter Wines is a high class, gorgeous cellar door with lovely food and spectacular wines. A special shout out to Kristin and Jane who provided excellent service and were really sensitive to the needs of my son. We left with 6 wines and we'll be back again

Was there on the weekend for lunch and a tasting. We were only suppose to be there 45min we were there over 1.5 hours pie was nice pizza were cooked in a normal oven and under. Then to top it off we only got to taste 2 wines out if 6. Staff was to busy with tables outside. Stars where fir the pie only

We had a beautiful lunch here and are very glad we stopped in. Food was very fresh and so delicious. Highly recommend. Wine was delicious.

Fantastic tasting experience. Jane is knowledgeable and passionate about the wines and an absolute pleasure. The meats and cheese platters are generous and stand out wines included the 2021 Shiraz and 2019 sparkling Shiraz. A must-visit in Mudgee. Follow the signposts vs Google directions.
