Great customer service and a good price, what more could you ask for?

I recently had the misfortune of having my car serviced at TyrePower Lindisfarne. The mechanics didn't replace the oil sump plug properly, leading to ALL of the oil leaking out and the engine seizing up. I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, requiring a tow back and a $90 plus taxi fare. My car had been running perfectly up until then. The second-hand replacement motor I was offered as compensation was not good enough. It ran poorly, idled rough and there were problems with the transmission interacting with this crumby old 2nd-hand motor (where it came from, who knows?). I took the car back FIVE times within a few weeks, and the issue was never resolved. In the end I traded up that car, being lumped with an unavoidable bill for a general inspection report on the old one that Service Tasmania requires when an engine is replaced. Whenever I returned the car to get it running properly, the owner was of the impression that the car was running fine, but it certainly was not. My recommendation - go elsewhere for your service.

Proper old school service. Friendly staff and reasonable rates. Have been good communicators when confirming works required on the vehicles I've had maintained there.

Firstly, let me say I do not know this business or anyone who works there. I went there for fuel one day after missing my 'normal' stop for fuel.Wow, was I pleasantly surprised. First, I didn't even have to get out of my car. But on top of that, being greated by a nice smile and welcome, friendly chit chat.Full service fuel stations are still around in a minority, but in my experience haven't had the service I saw here.Loved it, and had no doubt in my mind that I was going to find a site like this to review them. They are awesome.

Lack of safety procedures. Would not recommend. Bought new tyres and wheel nuts were not properly tightened and checked. Wheels came loose after travelling on highway and dirt road. They were apologetic but did not take responsibility for incident. They blamed old equipment and lack of time to carry out additional safety checks that other businesses use. They are NOT associated with Tyrepower, just have old signage displayed.

My husband got 5 new Kuhmo tyres fitted to our Patrol last week. The staff were helpful and efficient with ordering in the tyres and then fitting. They were reliable with numerous phone calls to us as promised and did a really good deal including a wheel alignment. Was pleasantly surprised to see they still offer good old fashioned pump service here! Good Job.
