Dealing with Hertz in Muswellbrook is like trying to do business with a sheltered workshop. I have NEVER come across such MUTANTS before in my life. Unfortunately, in the country, we are a captive audience so we have to tolerate a lot of horseshit here.Thank you to Hertz Muswellbrook for perfecting the art of SUBSTANDARD CUSTOMER SERVICE in CAR RENTALS. Cheap and great value for money. $150 for 24 hours? Can't beat it. You will have to pay a bond. The lady that worked there was helpful and informative. Only bad thing is that they need to raise the height of there fuel tank on the truck. Had to get on my hands and knees to refill and I'm not exaggerating.

The agent/staff member at the Muswellbrook agency is dishonest.I collected a car rental at 0830 on Monday 4 January 2021. I drove out and immediately noticed the fuel guage needle was showing just above the quater mark. I went straight back to report it thinking it might be a guage problem. After frequent hiring of vehicles from a green competitor that included progressively more hassles I changed to these guys. Service was pleasant, helpful and most importantly the vehicle I ordered had exactly the features I ordered. Their competitor struggled with this often...keep this in mind when you next hire a vehicle for a specific task. Yes they're a little dearer but what cost do you give to satisfaction and a lot less stressful not having to replan a job.

They were late with the truck then they took out twice the rental fee. Which we didn't get back until a week later because they left it as pending instead of accepting and returning. My mum ended up on the side of the road with no fuel because of the extra money they took out. I would do no stars if I could. Never going through them again.
