Megan was an amazing person to work with! Unfortunately our wedding was postponed suddenly due to a covid lockdown however Megan was already calling us to reorganise. The cake was beautiful and delicious. She helped with the cake flowers and dressed it perfectly. Our venue The Chapel at Montville thought it was an amazing cake and also found Megan to be very friendly and easy to work with on the day.If you are looking for a cake for your special day definitely consider Hansel&Gretel Cakes as they really are amazing.

The cake Megan created for our wedding day was spectacular... So gorgeous, SO DELICIOUS. I just wanted to eat the whole thing to myself. Megan was professional yet relaxed, and she brought my vision of a whimsical, faerie-garden wedding cake to life! The coconut & lemon flavour was to die for. 100% recommend. Thanks Megan!!!

My husband's favourite part of our entire wedding planning was cake tasting at Hansel & Gretel cakes. That's how delicious our wedding cake was. We couldn't decide so we had multiple tiers with multiple flavours and it looked so pretty too. We had no firm direction just wanted something 'different' and Megan was able to work her magic to fit our style, numbers and budget. We are so thankful that we were able to have Hansel & Gretel cakes make our wedding cake - the top tier is in our freezer and CANNOT WAIT to defrost that on our first year anniversary! 10000 / 10 recommend!

Megan from Hansel & Gretel Cakes was an absolute dream vendor for our wedding cake! We gave her our colour scheme then let her run wild with her creative genius and we could not have dreamt of a more perfect cake for us! It was absolutely stunning and has been a talking point for weeks following our wedding!As with many covid weddings, we were thrown a curveball on the morning of our wedding day and Megan moved heaven and earth to get our cake delivered in time for our rescheduled earlier start time. The epitome of going above and beyond!All of this magic is before even talking about the flavour- aaall the delicious flavour!!! There are not enough stars in the world to rate to H&G Cakes. Dealing with Megan ( now on several occasions) has been so easy. She has such creative ideas when all I have given her are some pictures and the theme of my event.I have often rung in rush orders for special occasions where I need just a few treats and Megan has always come through for me.. thank god!!!Everyone always raves about the design and presentation of her desserts and cakes and will often comment on just how bloody delicious they are :-) They can become very addictiveI have visited her home studio for cake tastings and its great to see where all the action and magic happens.If you're looking for Brisbane's funniest, creative and kindest baker who makes the tastiest, decadent and lavish desserts and treats then you've come to the right place- Megan from Hansel & Gretel Cakes gets our vote!Here are some recent pictures of the yumminess she created for my daughter's 5th Flamingo Birthday Party- Safe to say it was a hit- and what was left at the end of the day!

Megan was a delight to work with when we had approached her for the baking and delivery of our wedding cake. Well in advance, she was able to provide us with more than enough samples, and give us insight into what flavours would pair well with others. We had a bunch of ideas that we had wanted to incorporate, and she was able to pick out the most predominant features and elegantly consolidate everything into what we thought was simply - an amazing wedding cake. We've received so many compliments about the cake and have also already referred her to some close friends. Definitely a top pick if you're looking for quality, flavour, and a wonderful experience.

Holy moly. The cake from Hansel&Gretel Cakes was, by far, the showstopper at our wedding. Five layers of perfection (including the most beautiful perspex layer with sugar flowers and our antique bug), and she even managed to include our wedding motif in the cake design! And, what do you know, it even tasted delicious as well. I will definitely be returning to get more stunning cakes made by Hansel&Gretel Cakes.

Megan created the most incredible cakes for our wedding in early February. We let her have free reign with the design as long as it fit with our pink and red colour scheme and we were blown away with what she created! Our guests raved about the cakes, my mother-in-law who is a chef herself said it was the best cake she'd ever eaten (even two days later for breakfast!). I had a seperate GF/DF cake made for myself to meet my allergy requirements and it was delicious! We can't wait to order Hansel & Gretel cakes for every life event from now until forever! :)

Megan was fun and professional from the start and we chose three amazing favours earl grey tea, lemon and rasberry white choc. The tasting samples were great but what turned up on the day was 100% better. The cake looked amazing but the flavour...wow.
