We live outside Australia so our sale process was just that little bit more complicated and included tax preservation steps and additional accounting. All of which the team at Eckermann's completely took the load off us and got it all done. Maddy went on vacation just prior to settlement so an update about disbursement of funds didn't make it in time to the person who assisted Maddy unfortunately. Not a major problem but it did incur an additional delay in getting some of the funds remitted. Aside from that, we had a wrinkle in the settlement due to CBA bank and them not correctly completing a mortgage release from several years prior. Your team, including Maddy & Ming Gao, handled this with expedience and professionalism and it was resolved within a day so settlement and handover was only delayed by 24 hours.
