Additional notes- Job completed. I am happy with the results. Remember to be strong and say what you need as you will be using your house for a long time.A difficult journey. My simple one room studio is almost complete.Luke (at Cavan) was wonderful in doing the design, patient and was a good listener, but it was a pity that the ideas were not picked up by the designers. There were a million and one things to think about, and I thought I managed to keep on top of all of them, so I thought...Simple studio, what could go wrong? No bathroom, no kitchen... Just a single room.The difficult thing was there was no 3D design available, thus I had to try to imagine everything on paper in 2D, and now the manhole will be covered by the cupboards that I planned to put in right from the start. Very annoying. A few other issues also have surfaced...I did not get to meet with the site manager, Jeremy, at all. I was late to the first meeting (which is unusual for me, but my toddler son was a challenge that day) and he had already left. It will be the first time I get to see him at the pre-handover... Is it possible he works remotely?My advise for people looking to build is to have the consultant/designer, and builder/site manager as the same person if possible. (There is no point in talking to the Atlas site manager as his hands are tied to the design).Then to see the design in 3D (it is too easy to miss things on 2D. If my simple room has caused problems, what will it be like with a house?). Check things through thoroughly, (I thought I did) and just wait, and check again, got through every single point (though many are not relevant to me). Get another expert to check it you can… And good luck!

Great range of display home extensions. Friendly on site person to answer questions. Very reasonable pricing. Definitely worth a visit if you're thinking if extending your home or building a granny flat.

Lackadaisical attitude! Gentleman named Paul committed to meeting at my house to inspect and did not show up on the day agreed. I had arranged all my personal appointments for the day accordingly. Having waited patiently and allowing time, I called the number listed on Google and reached a lady who then connected me to Paul. Paul realised that he had stuffed up, apologised and wanted to make up for the miss and committed to meet me at my house the same day at 6.30pm. Well, UNBELIEVABLE!! The man was a NO SHOW AGAIN!!! Not sure people....if the basic ain't right then I wonder about their capabilities and customer service!

Rude, inresponsive, misogynistic, unprofessional, uncommunicative. These neanderthals should never be allowed in this sort of business. They couldn't organise a pie fight in a bakery.

Some very interesting concepts but you really need to check what is/isn't covered in the listed price. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Great idea's for home extensions and granny flats. Very helpful staff, a must to visit.

We wanted to build with Atlas when we retire in 10yrs as the prices SEEM quite affordale within our very TIGHT budget, but on talking to our neighbours who are currently TRYING to build through them well...it has been almost 2yrs & the slab isn't poured yet, they cost has gone from $98,000 to $189,000 & they have been trying to get out of their contract (as at those kind of prices they can never retire) only to read quite carefully that please consult a lawyer"...they are STUCK

Build quality & tradies generally: 4.5 starsSite managers lack of communication: minus 3 stars. Because we were having a granny flat built in our secured backyard we thought some communication would have been appropriate so we could organise someone to be home to give tradies access. Unless I personally asked him we were told absolutely nothing. Even when I did get a time & date from him they didn't show up. When I confronted him all I got was Well

First enquiry for me. The Consultant at their display village was extreemly knowledgeble and helpful.Will definitely be exploring this company as a leading contender for my future building project.

The gentleman there was a straight talker and gave insightful knowledgeable advice with no expectation of a sale. Refreshing!
