A very painful Achilles’ tendon which was not responding to injections or physio drove me to seek the help of a podiatrist and luckily I chose someone locally. That turned out to be Anthony Wilson. Anthony offered a solution which ended almost a year of intense pain. My wife also benefited from Anthony’s expertise deriving relief from a long term problem We are grateful to have found someone so caring and knowledgeable.

I don't really have any serious problem with my feet.Thankfully.And therefore the thought of going to a podiatrist had not crossed my mind until relatively recently. We all tend to take our feet for granted, but if anything were to happen to them our lives would make a radical change for the worse.I was first sent to see a podiatrist in conjunction with another health condition, without which I probably still would never have gone. However I'm glad that I have. I've seen Anthony in the past and generally see Anna now, and they are both very capable, professional, friendly and good at looking for any issues and explaining what to do about them.The check-in and booking process is also very smoothly and professionally done.We all do tend to take our health for granted until some of us can't, at which time it's too late. Especially for anyone over 30, it is in my view wise to build some time into our calendar for regular general medical checkups, eye tests, dental tests... and podiatry checkups with some routine maintenance. (Which have the nice side effect of leaving your feet feeling good afterwards, incidentally.)And for anyone in the Wollongong region, I regard a trip to Woonona to come here to be well worth the time.

Can’t recommend Anthony enough.Friendly, comfortable and effective treatment as well as very flexible appointment bookings around my particularly inconvenient, busy calendar.

I have continually put off going to see a podiatrist until today.No reason to be anxious at all.I was seen by Anna, who was so patient, caring and very lovely.To anyone who reads this review, please do not put off going and having your feet checked especially if you are in any pain, you will walk out with a huge weight lifted.I would highly recommend Podiatry Illawarra.

I was seeing a Physio for over 2 months for Achilles’ tendon issues which included acupuncture, massage and stretching for treatment. I was not responding to this physio treatment at all. I then looked at seeing a podiatrist and that was the best move I ever made. I saw Anthony Wilson for one visit only, he asked lots of questions and he checked over my ankles including my Achilles and calves gave me a stretch technique to follow daily and a pair of orthotics soles for my shoes and within a week my Achilles feel like I never had a problem. Anthony is fantastic podiatrist and has worked with all our family from my parents to young kids.Great local business and extremely knowledgeable, they don’t try and sell you things you don’t need.Cannot recommend these guys enough.
