Great vibe, corner venue with outdoor seating. With lots of heaters and blankets for winter. Friendly staff that explained the menu well. So many delicious options good for sharing. Halloumi was delightful. Will be back thanks.

Food was great ! Service was terrible. Coming from the hospitality service myself, the provided service on that evening was shocking. No communication whatsoever. We were waiting over 30 mins on our main dishes. We asked to waiter to check and he said that he would follow up, well that was it, he never came back to provide us with an update. Hope the front of house staff can improve, because the food was delicious.

Such a great discovery.This restaurant is amazing and very popular.Food was delicious. Every single thing was exquisite.Portions are not too big.Groups up to 7 people it is better to order at least 8 mains to share.All the staff is incredibly friendly and kind.It is better to book in advance.Groups of 8 and more have to order the set menu for $69 pp.Cocktails are available.Wine is quite pricy.

I’ve been to Bart Jr. a gazillion times over the years. The food and service has always been outstanding and i love the true authentic local beat.You can tell a place is run well when staff is friendly to both customers and each other, it adds so much warmth to the welcoming vibe. I find all these subpar reviews unreasonable especially when it’s based on a one-off gaff that any workplace is bound to have.Hats off to all staff for maintaining the quality despite the crazy years we’ve just gone through. Love x

Loved it. We sat at the bar (which I am normally not a fan of) and I really enjoyed it. The food was incredible and the staff had great banter. Listed as a new favourite for me for sure. Will be recommending this to everyone.

I absolutely love Bart Jr. The best bar in the inner city! The food is to die for! Order the haloumi, potato fritters and the anchovy toast. The selections of drinks is amazing too.The staff are friendly and attentive. If it’s a nice day, I recommend sitting outside. The menu changes from time to time with fresh seasonal produce.There’s a Tuesday pasta night and on Wednesdays they do a $45 set menu and it’s incredible value for the quality of food. I’ve taken lots of friends to Bart Jr and they always go back for more! Highly recommend Bart Jr.

10/10 highly recommend! Everything about Bart Jr is wonderful. Fun staff, fab food and solid selection of non-alcoholic cocktails, which is my jam. Great spot for catching up with friends over shared food plates and great drinks. The anchovy toast is next level, it’s so bloody good and worthy of the hype. Halloumi with honey is also delish! Loved the ‘I don’t want to shrub’ cocktail, holy cow the thyme, nectarine goodness, what a winner. I could have drunk a pitcher of it. Will be back
