Overall, good atmosphere, nice place. Good pizza dough, proper Italian pizza oven. Pepperoni pizza great 5/5. Potato and gorgonzola pizza did not have gorgonzola in it. Could not taste any rosemary. Also, small chunks of potatoes instead of slices. I disliked this one 2/5. Hope they fix some of the failures for next customers.

Great place for pizza. They let you add custom toppings to the pizzas too for a small charge around $2.The drinks are good as well. Good place any amount of people.The entrance is a bit weird to find but the hunt is part of the fun as the buildings are beautiful too.

Best bar in Bathurst. Wood-fired pizza, craft beers, cocktails, and a solid local wine list. Service from Jo and the team is outstanding. A great night out.

I was very keen to try this place after seeing recommendations for it on various websites. You enter via a cute little courtyard (which we didn’t quite get to enjoy as it was rainy that day) and sat ourselves down at an empty table inside the church - there’s not really a front desk or anyone at the door to greet you which was a little unexpected as the entrance was more like a side door.We ordered and paid at the bar where the staff was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived reasonably quickly.We ordered 2 pizzas - the Russell and the Brilliant. Loved the Russell! Both pizzas came with a thin crust.The poached egg on the Russell had an oozing yolk, you could taste the truffle oil throughout and all the flavours absolutely complemented each other. I’d totally go back for that!The Brilliant, compared to the Russell, wasn’t so brilliant but that was my personal taste. It tasted like what is promised on the menu - five-spiced duck and the sweet soy drizzle was a nice touch (although I could it could have done with a touch more of it). But I think I liked the Russell too much to properly enjoy this one - I’m also not used to having duck on my pizza. Thought this might have converted me but alas, it didn’t.

Beautiful old character building with a cool funky bar feeling. The food was delicious. We had the special" Chilli prawns with cherry tomato pizza. Good authentic wood fired pizza bases. Was so good to wind down at the end of a long day by the fire in this casual place. Full bar and friendly service. So glad we came."

A cosy place for a filling meal of pizza during winter. The pizza is fresh with a crispy thin base and adequate toppings with a slight twist on old favourites like Hawaiian and supreme, though perhaps not as adventurous as the Station Bar in Katoomba. Overall it was a good value dinner and I recommend booking ahead of time.

A gem hiding away in the heart of Bathurst. We found Church Bar on Google when searching places with vegan options (they have vegan cheese!) and were not disappointed. The lady working the bar was so sweet. Gorgeous atmosphere with 2 wood fires. I got the Abercrombie pizza (I think that was the name) and it was delicious. I'm still thinking about it. My friend got the Robin Hill with vegan cheese and said it was probably the best vegan pizza she's ever had. Prices very reasonable as well. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
