Woady Yaloak Recreation Facility

Beautiful, great place to camp overnight or for a weekend. Best in warm weather but built to handle camping in wet weather also. I have been here before for a family bbq and we had a great time using all the facilities available. Family friendly, great for the kids.

Lovely friend lovely company in a lovelytown

Since opening this Falcility has bn the Home of a number of Community Clubs plus the School used the Oval. Had a well run Overiding Committee. Cape Clear FootballNetball Club moved there. Was Basis of re-establishing the Orginal Smythesdale F/N Clubs. Central Highlands Foot/Netball League didn't appear to assist re Smythesdale F/N Clubs when Football Club had some Problems. The Falcility appears to have lost a lot of Local Support. Believe the Buildings & Surrounds still have Shire Maintainance. Was a Committee Member, haven't heard from other Committee Members since 2019. This Falcility needs more Publicity from existing Committee and GPS.

I attended the monthly Smythesdale Market there and was surprised at the size and quantity of stalls available. Would Recommend.
