We have been looking for awhile now for a good, not over priced fish & chip shop, after trying this shop we will not be looking any more.Since writing this we have returned many times NEVER a change in taste always GREAT service and GREAT food.Now a few months later unfortunately this shop is well and truly overcooking most food and still flour and undercooked on other food .VERY VERY disappointing..

Great fish and chips! The young fella serving did a tremendous job under very trying circumstances on Good Friday. Good Friday is a day that requires patience and understanding for fish and chip shops, their busiest day of the year. The fish and chips were worth waiting for, a great little business.

Pretty disappointed. Chip portion sizes are a joke, even with the current economy! They did tast nice though. Battered cheese sausage was well and truly over cooked.

Was just 2 ladies running the show by themselves. They where fairly busy yet managed to get our meals smashed out in 15mins and they where delicious to boot.

Our favourite fish and chips takeaway was closed so we called a neighbour to ask which Kims was better - Stargate or Port Coogee?? She said perhaps Stargate - but don't order fish and chips. Specify which fish!!So we ordered the Red Emperor with a serve of prawns and chips.Cooked fresh while we waited and home in 5 minutes for the absolutely worst take-away meal we have ever had!!The fish was dreadful, prawn inedible, and the chips were greasy and disguising.I'd give this place a minus star if that was possible.Re-wrapped the meal and put it in the freezer in case we get food poisoning!! - Just in case!!!

Very disappointing...I order 2 hours before I needed the order (6.30pm) via Uber....I understood it would take a long time as it was Good Friday. They cancelled our order at 8.45pm...after waiting over 2 hours patiently, but now it's so late at night we could not get fish and chips anywhere else! :-(

You only get one chance with me and it didn’t go well.Over priced, fish very questionable, chips-not enough …still hungry after $33 for 2 people.I won’t be back.you earned this review.Possibly the worst F&C I’ve ever had.

Just purchased $8.00 worth of chips tonight. What a disappointing serving size. Commented to the nice young lad behind the counter whom kindly mentioned to take it up with the owner. So I did. This is my first and last purchase at this store.I always go to Coogee PlazaFish, unfortunately they were closed tonight. The $8.00 serving I got from Kim's Fish and Chips was the equivalent of $4.00 from Coogee Plaza Fish and Chips. Disappointed to say the least.

The woman running the shop is arrogant and extremely rude.I placed a phone order that took 1 hour and still no food. When I tried to tell her , she told me to leave. Will not ever recommend anyone to this Fish and chip shop.

Price has gone up and the amount of chips you get with your fish has shrunk. Was a good place to get fish and chips but not anymore and could do with better customer service..
