I bloody love this pub. The food is delicious, the staff, great value (shout out to Vanessa), the atmosphere #1, with music, fireplace, couches. Great location and most excellent range of beverages

Dropped in for a quick drink after flying into Launceston late at night. Very cute and friendly bar. There was a live band on while visiting but plenty of seating elsewhere to enjoy a drink and not be overwhelmed by the noise. Super friendly staff happy to answer all my questions about the local beers.

Loved this place we went upstairs it was a little squashed but that is the only bad point. The food was amazing fantastic and so so yummy . Would love to eat like this everyday.

I recently had the pleasure of playing a show at the Royal Oak Hotel in Launceston, and I must say, it was an amazing experience.From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, helping us with our equipment and ensuring that everything was set up for our performance. The stage and sound system were top-notch, and we were able to deliver a high-energy set that had the entire crowd on their feet.The atmosphere at the Royal Oak was fantastic, with a lively and engaged audience that made us feel right at home. The venue itself is beautifully designed and decorated, with a great layout that allows for easy movement and excellent sightlines from every part of the room.After the show, we were able to unwind and relax in the comfortable and well-appointed bar area, enjoying a drink and chatting with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Overall, I would highly recommend the Royal Oak Hotel to anyone looking for a great night out in Launceston. It truly is a top-notch venue with fantastic staff and a great atmosphere.

Real pub and great live music venue at the weekends. A good selection of craft ales on draft, although the three I tried hadn't been kept very well. Overall, a good experience, and I'd return just for the atmosphere and music.

We arrived late and the chef came out specially just to feed us. The parmi and the vegetarian were both delightful. Good old fashion corner pub vibe with the main bar area serving a good selection of wine and beer with some amazing music playing.

Chicken parmi is fantastic. Side dishes are also very worth trying. It is a nice bar with very young vibe on 1st Bar floor and family/friend vibe on 2nd restaurant floor.
