Lillypilly Estate Wines

Sam really looked after us when we visited last Saturday. The complimentary water, cheese and crackers were a surprise as was the variety of wines on offer. The Sauvignon Blanc and Petit Verdot were 2 of our favourites along with any of the great botrytis wines. Definitely worth a visit.

We drove 1 1/2 hours to this little boutique winery. It's a family business and Robert was very friendly and attentive. Their website doesn't mention wine tasting but it's free with complimentary cheese and cracker. Generous free tasting and we tried ten different wine.We ended up buying 9 bottles of wine and Robert gave us a complimentary bottle 2015 muscat.If you enjoy sweet wine then this is definitely the winery for you. Support Australian wine!!

Beautiful wines and successful story of family business. All blends created with love and experience. My favourites are whites and sweets - Tramilion is one of super nice for my taste. Thank you Robert.

Sam did a wonderful job in explaining the winery and showing us an excellent selection for the tasting. We were made to feel welcome.

While staying out near Griffith we did a search of wineries in the area and stumbled upon Lillypilly Estate. Having very low expectations based on some other cellar doors in the Riverina Area we were wildly happy when Robert, the owner, asked if we would like a wine taste. He was such a fantastic host who not only gave us a great wine tasting experience, but also imparted his knowledge of the local area and extensive family history. While typically we are red wine drinkers Robert gently coaxed us to give all his wines a try. And we were not disappointed with any of the wines and especially liked his own trademarked creations. Having gone in thinking we might buy a couple of bottles we walked out with a couple of cases of wine and one of the best and most memorable afternoons of wine tasting we have ever had.

I think I bought almost all the different wines on offer here because they are that good. Great wines at very reasonable prices. Enjoyed the experience with Robert the wine maker being so humble and proud of his family business.

If you like dessert wine, you can't miss this place. Tasting is complimentary and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. We ended up trying all dessert wines and loved them all, especially the one served on Quantas business Class. Went home with 13 bottles of wines and if you join as member, they offer you extra discount. Highly recommend this place if you get to Leeton.

My wife and I discovered this winery shortly after arriving in Leeton 5 years ago and it remains our firm favourite. Fantastic wines at reasonable prices, and it's always a great time catching up with Rob and/or Sam during tastings (which are complimentary). Highly recommended stop for anyone travelling through Leeton.
