Alice Springs Cinema - movie times & tickets | Alice Springs Cinema has been a part of our community for nearly 30 years. A magical transformation of what was formerly the site of a supermarket, the Alice Springs Cinema opened in 1989 with two screens. A third screen was added in 1993 and the intimate cinema four added in 2003. The projection equipment was upgraded in 2011 and we are now fully digital.

Good quality cinema. Good range of food and drinks. Membership makes movies affordable if you like to experience films in the cinema instead of streaming .

Alice Springs Cinema is the only mainstream offering in the area but fortunately it is a solid one. Cinema is always neat and tidy with the exception of the mandatory popcorn on the carpet. Staff are friendly and efficient. I would suggest buying a 10 pack of movie money tickets at $15 per ticket if you intend to frequent the cinema or join their movieclub which works out cheaper in the long run.

They need to add more variety of snacks on their list. BYO is strictly prohibited. The space is just perfect to accommodate the people of Alice.

Very happy with this cinema. We are new to town and were very happy to see there was a cinema. The staff are always very friendly. The choctops are fabulous. The range of films is also very good, they really try to put on the blockbusters and the more quirky smaller films that wouldn't draw as much commercial interest. The times for the films do make it a bit tricky to do two films in one night, but besides that it is very good.

What a gem. I didn't know what to expect, but set my sights low... Not sure why. This is a great cinema! Don't expect IMAX or reclining seats with table service but, it's clean, neat, good quality sound and screen, comfortable seats with arm rests that can be folded back. Staff are super friendly and helpful. And.... Their chocktops are awesome! They make their own, mine had icecream all the way to bottom of the cone!

Was super excited to go in a watch a film! The lady who served me was so polite and so beyond nice to me! We even had a sneaky little giggle together hehe - may I add she was just gorgeous, her name is Eryn Whear (she is taken though from what she told me sorry fellas)! Go check it out highly recommend!
